Mundo Trattoria est né d'un rêve partagé par deux familles. Aujourd'hui, l'histoire se poursuit avec Johnny et Julian, des amis de toujours dont les pères ont fondé le restaurant ensemble. Ancrés dans la tradition et animés par la passion, ils ont su préserver l'essence d'une véritable trattoria italienne ici même à Kirkland.
Des pâtes fraîches faites à la main au veau tendre, en passant par les fruits de mer de saison, chaque plat reflète les saveurs de l'Italie et le soin particulier propre à une entreprise familiale. Fort de plus de 10 ans de service et de quatre décennies de tradition culinaire italienne, Mundo Trattoria est bien plus qu'un simple restaurant : c'est un endroit où l'on se sent chez soi.

This is my favourite restaurant! Always excellent in every way. Attention to detail, outstanding. I reserved online. The waiter remembered that I had mentioned, it was in celebration of my daughter in laws birthday. We were seated & greeted in a friendly, but professional manner. We were not rushed, but efficiently taken care of. From the drinks, appetizers, main courses & the surprise birthday dessert, everything was just delicious. We enjoyed the Beet Salad, & Meatball appetizers, Gnocchi Gorgonzola, & a Sausage Pasta main dishes. The cannoli & biscotti for our surprise birthday dessert was divine. I've also had the Beef Cheeks in previous reservations & they were excellent. You simply cannot go wrong with anything you order. Try it all! The complimentary bread with whipped butter, they bring you to start, is OMG so yummy! Each time I go, I order something different. Cannot wait to go back for another special occasion.
Good overall dinner at Mundo. The service was very warm & welcoming, which really set the tone for the night. We enjoyed a nice Chianti, & the beet salad was a standout to start. The pasta dishes were delicious, especially the mushroom & truffle & the beef ragù. A lovely touch to end the evening when the staff kindly brought us complimentary ice cream. Really appreciated the hospitality & would happily return.

Second time there & one of my new favorite places. Everything is great, service, atmosphere, food is authentic Italian dishes, no unnecessary fluff. Prices are totally justified, neither low nor high, the right value. Wine list is not the trendy phone book size but very nice selection.
Hands down this is My wife & I favorite Italian restaurant! Every dish is made tailored to the guest liking. Matthew has to take the credit for the amazing customer satisfactory! We love the dishes & amazing hospitality I highly recommend you stop by & try it out!
We live nearby while never noticed this lovely place. Today we made reservation for our 15th anniversary. The food & service were amazing. Just hope we will have luck to have chance trying some special dishes off the menu next time.
Great place to spend the evening. I love that they add a different twist on Italian dishes & offer you delicious surprise everytime. We are always happy with our meal, service is outstanding. Tony is a blast.

The food was AMAZING. You can tell that the people in the kitchen are real pros who care about the quality of dishes they are sending out to the clients. Service was very attentive & everyone in the restaurant seemed to be having a good time. Atmosphere was 4/5 for us just because we are a younger couple dinning alone. It seems like a great place to go with a group.

The staff at Mundo Trattoria were exceptional, but special recognition goes to Paolo, the best & most patient waiter we have ever encountered. His attentiveness, knowledge, & genuine friendliness made us feel welcomed & well-cared for throughout the night. Paolo went above & beyond to ensure that our dining experience was perfect, & his recommendations were spot-on. The ambiance of the restaurant is charming & inviting, providing the perfect backdrop for our gathering. Whether you're there for a special occasion or just a casual dinner, Mundo Trattoria offers an atmosphere that makes every moment special. We had a great time at Mundo Trattoria ! Their dishes are very tasty whether it's the pesto gnocchi, or pasta with mushrooms, salmon with veggies , or pasta with tuna :) We loved it & it's a perfect venue for Christmas party with friends & family! Highly recommended
In a word: stellar. Stellar service, stellar tasty dishes, stellar atmosphere. Highly recommend Mundo Trattoria. It was my first time there, it won't be my last. Thanks to Julian & his entire staff.
The food & presentation was excellent. We ordered two antipasti platters. Each party had a different dish. My husband was disappointed with the lobster ravioli ( the pasta was too thick) but the meat dishes were beautiful & delicious. Our only negative comment, there was an excellent singer but the music was a bit too loud for a comfortable conversation. We chose Mundo because it was alway quiet & cosy & easy to hear each other. . Like the singer but must be lower volume.
Food, service & entertainment were all excellent. Fish & pasta dishes were all wonderful. Louis provided outstanding service throughout & Tony Zerbino had an amazing voice & sang all our favorites. We were having such a good time that we lingered for over 4 hrs.
The service was attentive & the food delicious. Unfortunately, they were out of a number of dishes of interest to our party. I will definitely be returning.
