Once you have had authentic Mexican food in Mexico it's difficult to compare.
But let's try. The restaurant is very cute. We were immediately greeted at the door & seated because we had a reservation. Even though reservations are recommended there were some empty tables for walk-ins.
We were given 3 menus, one with beverages, one for specials & one for tacos & appetizers.
Once we ordered, the wait was not too long.
I ordered the Ranchero steak tacos. Two corn tacos with Oaxaca cheese, panela cheese, grilled steak, pico de gallo (chopped tomatoes, onions & cilantro), cactus. The steak was delicious & there was quite a bit. But the rest of the ingredients were practically non existent. Because of the quantity of beef, it was quite filling. I also asked for spicy salsa but they didn't have any.
My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich which was grilled pork, ham, Latin cheeses, chorizo, pickles, avocado, mayonnaise & smoked mustard & a Tortilla soup. I tasted his sandwich & it was very tasty. The only issue was that the bread was soggy. The soup was not hot & had little taste. Again we asked for spicy salsa which was not available.
The service was ok but when the bartender & or owner cane over it was great.
Would we go back? Probably not. The location is a bit far from our house & the food was not as good as the other reviews.

EXCELLENT ... Food was EXCELLENT.. service was SUPER good, music VERY good. We ordered shrimp tacos, sandwich cubano, stake tacos & Sopa de tortilla.... EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS

Plus d'espace, moins de raffinement. Les mangues étant hors de saison, vaudrait mieux retirer cette salade du menu plutôt que la servir avec des mangues dures comme des concombres. Manque d'assaisonnement, comme la guacamole, très fade. Les tortillas sont moins goûteuses. En somme, tout est plus bâclé, depuis qu'ils ont déménagé & sont passés à un autre volume.

Resto hyper chaleureux, cocktail & plats vraiment délicieux, un incontournable dans Rosemont. Mélange Cubain & Mexicain. Je vous recommande, la soupe de tortillas, les tacos de pollo accompagner du riz mexicain & d'une Margarita !!!
