Burgers were fine, fries were fine. Don't buy a soft drink, very expensive. 4.75$ for a child size coke. Wait staff clearly did not want to be there
Mister Steer has definitely gone downhill compared to what it once was. The quality just isn't the same anymore - from the food to the overall experience, it's lost the charm & consistency that used to make it a standout. Disappointing for long-time customers who remember how good it used to be.
Old school burger place with flavor that puts other burger places to shame.
Nice restaurant datant de 1958! :) Merci à Mohammed pour le service, vraiment sympathique!
Ordered meat for the bbq & was ready when I arrived. Also got some delicious Suzie Q's. Excellent service. Thank you Mohammed for making this a great experience. Will be back :)
Mister Steer is a true gem for anyone craving vintage Montreal vibes & comfort food done right. From the retro decor to the friendly service, everything about this place feels like a nostalgic throwback-in the best way possible.
The menu is extensive with something for everyone, but let's be honest-you're here for the burger. Their signature Steerburger has earned its reputation as'the best burger in the world,' & it really lives up to the hype: juicy, flavorful, & perfectly cooked every time.
Prices are super reasonable for the quality & portions. & don't skip the famous Suzie Q fries-they're crispy, curly, & the perfect sidekick to any meal.
Whether you're a local or just passing through, Mister Steer is a must-visit spot that captures the heart (& appetite) of Montreal.
back when I wanted a burger, it would be a mr steer burger . The recipe was unique & a must have if you're visiting Montreal. The suzy q fries were also a fun treat :) I went back recently & wasn't as impressed by the burger but it was good. Maybe the recipe changed because it had less flavour than I remember. Also the fries used to be more curly & these were oily. I'm a vegan most of the time now so meat is less appealing. I don't see myself coming back. It wasn't worth the exception
