Price was ok. They also gave a piece of cake for the birthday.
Would definitely recommend visiting Milestones in the West Island! We started off with mushroom soups & a gluten free iceberg wedge salad. Our waiter Ash was super careful with the allergy which we appreciated. The belllinis & negroni were great & came out quickly. We then got 16 oz steaks, the smash burger, the salmon poke bowl & the spicy salmon tartare. All the food came out hot & was delicious. For dessert, we had the gluten free apple crumble, the key lime pie & the giant cookie as it was my husband's birthday. Ash was awesome! The manager Antoine also checked on us & was super polite. Great restaurant for a gathering, a night out with friends or family or even a birthday!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Milestones Pointe Claire, & overall, it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant has a cozy yet modern vibe, & the staff was friendly & attentive, which made for a very comfortable dining atmosphere. For starters, I ordered the steak tartare, & I have to say, it was absolutely delicious. The meat was incredibly fresh, & the seasoning was just right-balanced, with a nice tang from the capers & a slight kick from the mustard. The texture was perfect as well, finely chopped, which made each bite melt in your mouth. The only minor issue was that the dish came with a little less bread than I would have preferred. With steak tartare, extra bread is essential for scooping up all that goodness, & I found myself wishing for a few more slices. That said, it didn't detract too much from the overall enjoyment of the dish. For the main course, I opted for a different entrée (which was equally satisfying), but the standout of the meal was definitely the starter. I also appreciated the drink selection-they had a great variety of wines & cocktails to pair with the food, & the staff was knowledgeable enough to make recommendations based on my preferences. The atmosphere at Milestones was relaxed but still upscale, making it a great place for both casual outings or special occasions. The service was quick & attentive, & the staff really made an effort to make sure everything was to my liking. In summary, Milestones Pointe Claire delivers a memorable dining experience with solid food, great service, & a nice ambiance. The steak tartare is definitely worth trying, & while the bread portion could have been a bit more generous, I'll definitely be back to enjoy it again. Highly recommend!
Went here for dinner. I got a rib eye steak, medium well. I would say it was the best steak I've ever had. Perfectly cooked & had no seasonings. I've gone to other restaurants where there's so much salt on the steak that i almost couldn't eat it. I've also had the chicken club for lunch & it was also fantastic. My girlfriend had the fish tacos & she's loved them as well. We'll definately be back
We visited on a Saturday afternoon & got seated pretty quickly. Overall, the experience was alright; I particularly liked the ambiance & the service. However, there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to the food. The coconut calamari was quite good, with a subtle coconut aroma. The steak was decent, & the salmon tartare was also fine. However, the salad choices were a bit limited. I don't eat goat cheese, so I asked if there were any alternatives, but they said the only option was to remove the cheese entirely. We ended up ordering the Caesar salad, which was average. The poke bowl was just okay, I ordered this just to get some veggies. Unless you're craving for veggies, not recommended to order poke bowl here. My friend ordered the curry dish & said was good.
The server, Claudia, was on point on all counts. Great atmosphere & ambience. The food however, was lacking in flavor, veggies very very under-cooked, had a lot of trouble biting into it. My sirloin steak was requested medium rare, but I received a medium-well one which was really difficult to chew & bland. Don't think I'll return here.
We were disappointed! We've been to Milestone out west & couldn't wait to try it here. All 3 entrees were amazing, especially the shrimps. The main plates were meh. The salmon & steak tartare were excellent but the Ribs were dry & chewy. The filet minion was really good but the rice smelt weird. Even the waiter agreed there was a foul smell. Honestly go to Baton Rouge, you'll get much better food & a similar surrounding for the same price but the food is much better. We were not offered any form of discount for. Terrible dinner. This again is not the waiters fault. He was a great guy! Not recommended. Go to Lucile's next door or the Keg.
Highly recommended - the place is very nice & trendy , service is very good as well as the food. You should go & try it . The steak sandwich & the poke bowl were not one of my favorites , however thr remaining food is g8. chicken & pasta dish was fantastic .
Nice atmosphere, our waiter was very good, he was witty & on the ball. The drinks were well made. The food was alright, the steak was disappointing, & the fries were cold. The sirloin was cooked correctly, but the quality of beef was lacking. It was rough to chew, but the sauce was delicious. I would recommend getting something other than steak there.
