Lovely space, great atmosphere, sensational soundtrack, very gentle servers, delicious food. Finally I could have good french fries (I'm very particular about it). The meat was perfect!!!!
The staff here is super friendly, drinks are creative & so tasty. The food & is incredible. Don't skip the signature sauce, it's to die for. On the top of my recommendations for Montreal!

The staff is super attentive, making sure every moment is just perfect. & the best part? It's a bang for your buck! Whether you're into steak or seafood, Mignon is the place to be for an unforgettable dining experience!
went with my family (4) for a graduation & heard a lot of good things about the steak frite so we wanted to try it out. We waited an hour for our food & when it was served, the steak was cold. The quality was below mediocre. Everything was kinda cold except for the fries. Felt as though everyone around was already getting their orders served within 20 minutes (people who came in after us) & we patiently waited for ours & we were dissatisfied. Nothing special to note except the fries. To note as well, the service was quite frankly not that good. Even though we waited for a long time, our server never came up to us to ask how we were doing & didn't come to tell us that our food would take some time. Hardly any friendly service compared to what customers were receiving. Could not properly enjoy our time at all. Finished our food within an hour & left.

We had reservations for Mignon during this weekends Formula 1 race. Medhi was able to book a group of 21 people during this busy weekend. With the chaos of after the race - we were unable to make it to the restaurant in time for our reservation. The restaurant called US, apologized that we were stuck & couldn't make it, & then waived the cancelation fee. 10/10 service! Hopefully next time we are in Montreal we can make it to dinner here. Thank you for the great service!!
Never had steak frites before this - now an incredibly high standard has been set. Came with a beautiful butter lettuce salad with fresh mint & tarragon. Could not have been more perfect for spring. Oysters were good but upstaged by the main. Wish I'd gone with the chocolate mousse vs. the crème brûlée (it was a bit odd).
Service was good, we were well attended. Steak signature wasn't that good. Location is really nice & atmosphere was good. Price-wise for old port was reasonable, but do not expect a great food.
Servers are pretty attentive even if it gets busy. Food is amazing ! Although on the pricier side, it's worth it for the location & food quality. They have $1 oysters during their happy hour, which is definitely worth it !
Je veux souligner ma grande appréciative du fait qu'on m'aie accueilli avec un beau Bonjour, sans Hi. Ça fait du bien de voir que tout n'est pas perdu pour notre belle langue. Après tout, on est la plus grande ville francophone d'Amérique du Nord. Il faut en être fier. Merci à Hermihie Rocan. J'y retournerai pour ça & bien sûr aussi pour la bonne bouffe.

Came here for 5a7 dollar oysters but stayed for the fries. Very forgettable oysters that were the size of nickels. The oysters came dry without any of their brine water. The highlight was the skinny fries that were perfectly fried; crispy snap with a soft interio
Very cozy place I really enjoyed the mignon Steak (their special dish) & our server Herminie made our night more special with her exceptional service! I Definitely recommend this place.
Herminie's service was great, she was very sweet! The food was to die for, I swear my friends & I were scrapping the plates with their fries... which were perfect by the way. Don't hesitate & have a seat at one of their tables 👌 Oh & order the soup! It's at least as good as the fries.
My husband & I had a fantastic date night in Montreal, & it was truly an unforgettable experience. Herminie was phenomenal; she welcomed us with such warmth & friendliness. We kicked things off with some delectable, fresh oysters, followed by their tartare & steak frittes, all of which were absolutely delicious! It was a flawless evening, easily a 10/10. We'd definitely love to come back.
