Came here due to the reviews with the other location, but chose this one out of convenience. Service was terrible, drinks took 20+ minutes & we were brought the wrong food item. Looks like the manager came over to apologize & provided the wrong food item on the house. Both tables next to us were also complaining, one of the tables were waiting 1 hour for their clams & steak, the other table also waiting 45 minutes for their food as well.

When we asked for the bill, the server was going to charge us for the incorrect food item. When we mentioned we were told it was on the house, she responded with'but it's on the machine.' This is fitting granted that all three employees were chit chatting & on their phones.

Location is great, but I would not recommend this place to anyone visiting Old Montreal.

Wow just wow. Our first restaurant canceled on us last minute & so we're scrapping to find a place. You won't be disappointed here. Truly a blessing that they canceled because it led us here. First of all the servers, bartender overall the whole staff is so sweet & accommodating. You really feel comfortable here with the service. The food is also so good. The fillet Mignon is literally the softest meat I've ever tasted. Not to mention great soup & escargot. Definitely coming back & not mention a great speciality non alcohol drink selection! The custom cocktails & shots wow the bartender was just wow. His customers wow!!

The dinner here was truly exceptional! The service was excellent & professional throughout the F1 race weekend. The Mignon steak was cooked to perfection as per my request & accompanied by a delectable sauce. The fries were not overly salty, & the escargot was bursting with umami & flavor. The drinks were reasonably priced & offered a wide variety of options. All the food arrived at the table at a reasonable pace, & I will definitely be returning.

The service at Mignon Steak Frites was exceptionally friendly 🌞. Our server immediately complimented our attempt to speak French 🇫🇷 & struck up a conversation 😊. We only stopped for drinks 🍹, but the menu looked very tempting 🍽?. The couple next to us had oysters 🦪, which also caught our attention.

My boyfriend had a beer 🍺 & I had a Britney Spritz 🍸. The server brought out the Britney Spritz while doing an impression of the singer 🎤, which tickled me ✨. We enjoyed both drinks while sitting in the sun on the terrace ☀?. The warm service, relaxed atmosphere, & enjoyable drinks made for a lovely visit 🌿.

This corner restaurant was a late & impromptu'look see' for dinner (Thanks Bronte). What a find!
Firstly, without a reservation on a busy F1 Saturday night, they find & a spot for 3 at the bar. Secondly we get to watch Rapheal mix & make drinks all evening- better than any streaming service I know. Finally the service & team were excellent. Funny, engaging, professional & helpful, I could moved in 😍

Located in Old Port, Mignon Steak offers amazing food, desserts & delicious drinks with a great dim light ambiance. Their steak frites & beef tartare are a must. The beef tartare is the best in town

Dropped in with my girlfriend to have oysters & a drink. Ordered the beef tartare & was delicious. Bartender Eric was really great & welcoming. We will definitely be back to try the steaks!
