What a wonderful late arvo at the terrace on the back. We started with oysters 🦪 then few more small dishes. Tibault was wonderful, friendly & told us few stories from his Paris days. He made us feel very comfortable. Thank you 🙏
We shall return for the $1.5 each oyster deal 5-7pm 😋🥂🥳
& the rose was just perfect for hot weather.

I went to provide this review because the quality of service from the manager Shay & her hardworking service staff as well as the excellent quality of the food myself & my friends experienced at this restaurant yesterday. However, after reading the most recent review I feel compelled to respond in support of Shay & her staff by providing the context the previous reviewer conveniently omitted. In my years of dining out I have never witnessed a group of people act with such disrespect & entitlement towards restaurant staff. While I was waiting for a table prior to the restaurant opening at 5pm, I saw two men walk onto the terrasse while the restaurant was still closed & begin to try & dismount the tv to turn the game on for themselves. I then heard the manager politely ask them to stop a few times, which I believe was entirely reasonable as it was clear her & her staff were working hard to finish up getting the restaurant ready to open, & also because from my perspective, their behaviour was embarrassing & inappropriate. Instead of stopping as they were politely asked to do, they aggressively raised their voices at her telling her to calm down. The manager responded by matching their tone & telling them to get down off the bench. Unlike the two men, I then heard her apologize for raising her voice, which to me demonstrated a level of professionalism & character these men did not deserve. At that point the only reason I didn't step in & say anything is because these men are clearly hostile & entitled & I didn't want to make the situation worse for the staff. Once I was seated my friends & I witnessed this group continue to disrespect & insult the staff for the entire time they were there. I believe the only reason they stayed for the length of time they did was to harass the staff, as they barely ordered anything. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was with how the manager & her staff maintained their composure & professionalism throughout the entire experience. That group of people should be embarrassed & ashamed, they were cruel, rude, & entitled & I could not in good conscious let the previous review go unaddressed. If a poor review is warranted, that is totally fine, this was not warranted. I hope they see this review & know that to those who were there to witness what happened know the staff were excellent & that your group were a public embarrassment.

Great experience at Mignon Steak! We were warmly greeted, received good service & enjoyed delicious food & drinks. The $1.50 oysters were a great deal (happy hour) & the espresso martini was perfectly made. The atmosphere was warm, laidback & inviting. My only downside was that the food portions felt quite small for the price. Overall though, a lovely spot for date night or catching up with friends!

Where do I begin… I came here for my birthday dinner & it was a meh experience ! We were four & the review was unanimous! First of all, it was COLD. Food wise, the french onion soup & the fries were delicious. The salad, the stake & the sauce were very disappointing. The salad dressing very basic, the steak sauce powdery & not tasty & the steak burnt. The front-of-house greeting was very cold, but the girl who served us was very nice (5/5) & listened to all our complaints & asked if she could do anything to improve our experience.
Very disappointed especially after all the good things I've heard about Mignon !

Waiters were so friendly & nice.
Steak one of them was massively overcooked the signature steak
The fillet mignon was basically a leather boot..
sauce was very watery & tasteless.
The burger patty was another leather boot.. uneatable
Mac & cheese was decent
Fries were good
But i mean the main event , the beef was overcooked & tasteless. I was surprised on how you can make a fillet mignon taste this bad.. war crime on the beef..

Had a great meal here with friends! Great drinks & food. Shay the bartender was lovely & had great service from Alexa!! wonderful evening!

Came for the buck-a-shuck happy hour, but ended up staying for the service, Idre was amazing, gave me great recommendations & friendly conversation. Ended up trying the filet mignon & fries which was just like L'Entrecôte in Paris (iykyk), can't wait to come back next time I'm in Montreal.

Really awesome restaurant with fantastic staff & service 😇😇 We started with the red wine & mocktail (Summer Spiritz) & then moved onto Burrata that was so delicious ❤?❤? So tasty! I had shrimp cocktail while my partner had the PEI mignon with fries & we loved every single bite ❤?❤? Full compliments to the chef 😇😇 We cannot wait to come back & try other items on the menu in this 10/10 restaurant :)
