Mignon Steak est percu comme une adresse charmante et conviviale, propice aux repas entre amis ou en couple, avec une ambiance chaleureuse et une terrasse appreciee et une bonne selection de vins et un menu table d'hote apprecie. Les plats phares, comme le steak frites et le tartare, sont souvent salues pour leur gout et leurs portions genereuses, mais la constance n est pas parfaite: certains morceaux de viande peuvent etre mal cuits ou brules, les sauces peuvent manquer de finesse et des portions ou des temps d attente peuvent varier selon les visites. Le service est generalement décrit comme competent et agreable, bien que des experiences decevantes existent lorsque l accueil est froid, les tables ne sont pas pretes a l heure ou le service est lent. Globalement les avis convergent sur une nourriture de qualite et une experience plaisante, tout en soulignant que la constance et le rapport qualite prix peuvent fluctuer.
Mtl a Table - great steak & frites. Crab cake with dill sauce was delicious. Salad was excellent. Cocktails are very special & service was charming. Nice laid back vibe to this place.
Super yummy food, had the service for Mtlatable, very nice menu. The red pepper hot sauce was great for people who like good heat. Also had a custom cocktail made by Shay, & it was delicious. Will definitely be coming back, great service!

Really awesome restaurant with fantastic staff & service 😇😇 We started with the red wine & mocktail (Summer Spiritz) & then moved onto Burrata that was so delicious ❤?❤? So tasty! I had shrimp cocktail while my partner had the PEI mignon with fries & we loved every single bite ❤?❤? Full compliments to the chef 😇😇 We cannot wait to come back & try other items on the menu in this 10/10 restaurant :)
Plusieurs visites de ma part dans ce restaurant à chaque été. Les huîtres à 1$ sont fraîches & grosses. Les mets de steak sont cuits de manière impeccable selon notre demande. Les frittes sont minces & croustillantes. Les cocktails sont à point. Le tout est très savoureux !
Just a wonderful little place, with superb food & a delightful cocktail menu... Sat at the bar, service was impeccable, swift, & friendly. A pleasure to experience 🙂

Everything was perfect. The steak was well done, the fries were excellent! Crispy, hot, salty, what more could you ask for? UNLIMITED FRIES! That's what! Oh & give the dill pickle martini cocktail, it was just what I needed after a long day. I didn't have any oysters but, the oyster special was very popular with the finance bros at the next table.
parfois un peu bruyante mais c'est parce que la salle est petite. Les serveurs sont top, la nourriture toujours très bonne, ils sont à l'écoute & sympa, les cocktails sont novateur & excellents. Je reviendrais à nouveau
Great atmosphere & service was prompt. Cocktails were also very tasty but the price was not on par with the food. I had the table d'hote... The soup was delicious... Fries were good but the steak was chewy & the sauce had a starchy taste to it. Don't think I would return unfortunately... For the price just not worth it
Beau restaurant de quartier avec une belle atmosphère. Menu d'une page & on aime ça comme ça. Fameux pour son steak frites, oui c'est très bon, mais trop dispendieux pour cette pièce de viande. Nous avons passé un bon moment, les cocktails sont délicieux, mais côté nourriture, ça ne vaut pas le prix

We had a reservation for 9:30 & were told that the kitchen closes at 10. We ordered a bit in a rush as we were waiting for 1 person to arrive. Understandable, but okay. The food was great. I ordered the table d'hôte filet mignon but they served me the sirloin instead, which is fine but that's not what I ordered. The steak was cooked to perfection, it was so good! The fries were sooo good too. I later learned it was unlimited fries but no one told us that. The mac & cheese was not seasoned, like at all. It was missing a lot of salt. Great choice of wine & cocktails. I had the negroni supreme & it was delicious. We also ordered a bottle of red wine. We asked for more bread & were told there's no more bread which was a bit odd but okay. The ambiane is awesome - great music! They were playing all my jams. My bill came to about $100 (including 20% tip) which makes sense for what I had. I am just a bit dissapointed because I truly felt rushed to order & finish. I wish they closed later. We would have ordered more if it wasn't for that. Especially on a Friday night. I never go out & I hated feeling rushed. It's the only thing. I don't think I would go back on my own. We're gonna go to l'Express next time.
Superbe atmosphère, excellent service. Cependant, le steak réduit de taille à chacune de mes visites !!! Cela devient ridicule. Les frites sont à volonté mais les serveurs ne s'en souviennent pas... Par contre la sauce elle il faut payer un extra pour en avoir davantage. Je recommande quand même. Les cocktails ont bons !
A gem of a restaurant! My friends & I were sat in the Negroni room & the vibes were amazing! It's a cozy lounge with the right ambiance lighting to converse & laugh over cocktails & food. Will definitely come back next time in Montreal.
Apetizer (tuna tataki) was amazing! Cocktails where really good.
The steaks (mignon & regular beef) were ok I guess, Ordered rare & it was rare, but for the same price, I can get to discover something elsewhere. The sauce is not something I would trademark, it's got nothing special. & the fries are fries, a would expect to have a choice of seasonal veggie instead.
Comme d'habitude - la bouffe excellent, le service attentif & les meilleurs cocktails dans le Sud-Ouest. Malheureusement il y avait un festival au terrain de baseball juste derrière nous de la terrace qui s'assurait de la base de musique nous résonnaient dans les oreilles mais ceci était hors de leur contrôle.
It's an ‘okay' spot. Probably won't go back there as often as I had hoped to at first glance.
The room looks cozy & super inviting. They've definitely done a great job redesigning it.
The service is excellent. The staff is pleasant, helpful & very courteous.
The drinks are disappointing, especially the cocktails. They're working with a ‘twist' on classics, resulting in major flops (I definitely would not recommend the dirty martini twist). What's even more concerning is that the resto doesn't have a dedicated bartender: the person making the cocktail is rushing them in between waiting tables & loading dishwashers. That's the sign of a poor cocktail right there.
The steak is definitely not ‘mignon'. It was okay, a solid 6/10. Hiding under a lake of peppercorn sauce, one struggles to get an honest taste. But that's what they're going for. Also, there's way too much fries on the plate, making you wonder if they're overcompensating for something.
Dessert was also underwhelming.
I also found the oysters gravely mispriced ($4 a pop is aggressive to claim without backing it up with quality).
Bref, an entrée, main plate & two glasses of wine should not cost as much as it did considering the quality.
