I just want to start off by saying the service was amazing (our waiter, didn't get her name but was an Asian girl, was outstanding). The food was very very disappointing… two of the orders came out wrong , I ordered my steak medium & it was rare at best, my buddy asked for no bacon on his burger had bacon & had to be sent back. The patio is very nice but stinks because there's garbage bins right on the other side of the fence. I really wanted to like this place but will not be going back.
J'ai bien aimé mon expérience au Mignon. La nourriture était bonne & le service était très bien, vraiment rien à redire de ce côté-là. Par contre, j'ai trouvé que le menu était assez limité & qu'il manquait de choix. Il y a certaines choses qu'on aimerait commander, mais qu'ils n'offrent tout simplement pas. Malgré ça, j'ai bien mangé & j'ai apprécié le service & le repas .
What a wonderful late arvo at the terrace on the back. We started with oysters 🦪 then few more small dishes. Tibault was wonderful, friendly & told us few stories from his Paris days. He made us feel very comfortable. Thank you 🙏

Un très mauvais service. Le serveur ne connaissait pas le menu ni le vin. Personne nous a servi le vin. Filet mignon froid & présentation des huîtres qui laisse à désirer. Elles baignaient dans l'eau.
Good place, the waiter was great, nice atmosphere. Now about the food, taste good in general, but I think the portions are way too small. For that price(100$ per person) I think we can find more places with a generous portions. A bit disappointing 😕
This was our favorite spot. We'd been coming to Mignon since it opened in 2021, even getting the takeaway special for NYE because of the pandemic times. It was incredible, but over the last few years it's changed. We moved from MTL & returned to visit this summer & the meal was honestly disappointing. The salad served initially when Mignon opened was better than the type served now. No bread & butter. Understaffed restaurant, no return visit to our table to be able to order another drink. Over cooked steak & flavorless sauce, over powered by the charred taste of the steak.
I went to provide this review because the quality of service from the manager Shay & her hardworking service staff as well as the excellent quality of the food myself & my friends experienced at this restaurant yesterday. However, after reading the most recent review I feel compelled to respond in support of Shay & her staff by providing the context the previous reviewer conveniently omitted. In my years of dining out I have never witnessed a group of people act with such disrespect & entitlement towards restaurant staff. While I was waiting for a table prior to the restaurant opening at 5pm, I saw two men walk onto the terrasse while the restaurant was still closed & begin to try & dismount the tv to turn the game on for themselves. I then heard the manager politely ask them to stop a few times, which I believe was entirely reasonable as it was clear her & her staff were working hard to finish up getting the restaurant ready to open, & also because from my perspective, their behaviour was embarrassing & inappropriate. Instead of stopping as they were politely asked to do, they aggressively raised their voices at her telling her to calm down. The manager responded by matching their tone & telling them to get down off the bench. Unlike the two men, I then heard her apologize for raising her voice, which to me demonstrated a level of professionalism & character these men did not deserve. At that point the only reason I didn't step in & say anything is because these men are clearly hostile & entitled & I didn't want to make the situation worse for the staff. Once I was seated my friends & I witnessed this group continue to disrespect & insult the staff for the entire time they were there. I believe the only reason they stayed for the length of time they did was to harass the staff, as they barely ordered anything. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was with how the manager & her staff maintained their composure & professionalism throughout the entire experience. That group of people should be embarrassed & ashamed, they were cruel, rude, & entitled & I could not in good conscious let the previous review go unaddressed. If a poor review is warranted, that is totally fine, this was not warranted. I hope they see this review & know that to those who were there to witness what happened know the staff were excellent & that your group were a public embarrassment.
Extremely bad service. Shae should learn some manners before working in a restaurant. Swearing at customers is unacceptable & to reach that point of pure disrespect & ignorance is by any standard, a shame. Unfortunately, Aurélia not only attained a higher level of ignorance, but instead of trying to fix what her co worker started, told us to pay & leave.
Management should work on their staff's manners, the bare minimum really. Service work standards like these ones should not be accepted in any respectable restaurant.
