Food was delicious & the beers were the star of the show. Surprisingly busy on a wet Wednesday evening which speaks volumes to the quality & value.
Stopped here on our road trip. Beautiful town. Spot was perfect. Great patio, beer & hummes
Typical pub...typical pub food. We ordered the American burger plate & the beer-battered fish & chips. All was well prepared & tasty. Service was just okay...utensils missing, we asked for ketchup...they brought an empty bottle. Table was sticky & dirty...the reviews were good, but in the end we weren't overly impressed.
Great spot for excellent food & drink! The server saw us struggling with the menu & happily provided one in English for us. The poutine with duck was phenomenal & the beers tasty. Highly recommend!
Food was amazing. Duck was perfect. Chicken sandwich was heaven & cesar salad. Beer was pretty good. Service wasn't great.
We came to Magog for a day trip on our Montreal vacation & stopped here for lunch. Confession...as Americans, we were not entirely impressed with the Canadian craft beer scene. But, this was the best beer we had while in Quebec. The food, however, was delicious! First time having fondue & it was SO good! Great service & atmosphere too.
Excellent atmosphere & food! They also had a good beer selection, & the two brews I tried were great. The server was very friendly & helpful; she not only gave excellent recommendations about items on the menu, but also on local things to do & places to visit! We were a group of Americans who knew very limited French, & all the employees here were extremely kind about it & willing to switch to speaking English for us. Definitely will return on my next trip to Orford!
This restaurant is amazing. I came right after the eclipse. I felt it was a little unorganized but thats ok. Just a little long to get seated & we didn't know what that structure was. The menu has beer pairings right on it & it was on point. Matched perfectly. The duck was to die for. I swear, best thing I've ever tasted. I wanted to cry. The biden cheese thing was really good. The ingredients blended nicely. Beers fantastic! The creme Brule was smooth & better then my expectations. I would 110% go again. I had to jump on here make a review to keep in my books! You can expect me this summer!
We started our getaway with a bang. This restaurant was very good. The service was welcoming. I sampled their beers. Really good. Their burger was good too. My wife had the fish & chips. She enjoyed it too. I recommend it.
Good & quality food along with their own beers that made a good experience.
Just a great place for an apres ski dinner. Big portions & amazing selection of beers
Great place to discover local beers with warm & friendly service & delicious fries (the only vegan option available for now)
Make sure you get a reservation! The place can be super chill but then can get filled up super fast. The beers are really good. The food comes out fast. The servers are nice. & the food is tasty. Prices are also reasonable. It is located in a nice part of town, so you can go out for a nice walk after your meal & if it is early enough you can visit the shops nearby. Definitely worth visiting if you pass by.
One of our favorite places to eat in Magog. Good food - sausages, burgers, cheese dip & fondue - these are the perfect companion to the excellent beer. I particularly like their ephemeral beers like saison des appalaches & saison des trottinettes, where local ingredients & flavors are able to shine. When the weather permits, dining outside is lovely on the porch or on the back patio. They are also good sports at accommodating a non-French speaking table (we do try).
Great neighborhood pub with a nice vibe, & a nice selection of beer made on site...
We had Le fish & chips, & the Burger le Monstre. Pretty good, but could have been better.
Service was excellent.
