Pretty standard brew pub serving a good selection of in-house brews. Tried the 4 sampler anf the beers were good though nothing stood out particularly. Food was quite good we had the beef bavette & the salmon & both were tasty with good sized portions.
We stopped for a snack before driving back to North Hatley

In short, I loved the place & highly recommend it. I had a great burger, small poutine & a beer.
Great craft beer at this microbrewery. Nice atmosphere. Can be crowded on weekends. We went there on a Saturday & just walked in but on the next day (Labour Day) there was a line out the door, so go early.
Typical pub fare but even their salads are good. Noise level is loud as is typical of pubs.
Great spot to have some great beer, food & vibes. Came here with a fairly big group. They accompanied us quiet well. Had a great view of the lake! The server was fantastic, helped us explain few beers in English. He was super cheerful & just lovely to have served us 😁
The food was amazing, especially the duck confit. My burger was done perfectly 👌, so as our friends medium rare steak! All the food was on point. Kudos to the Chef & the kitchen staff 👏

Our first visit to this restaurant. I always noticed it is a very happening place with big line ups & full terraces. Must be good? It is not!
The food is not - everything else is alright. We were three people & ordered different items.
I had fish & chips (26$) - the fish was the standard, not impressive, frozen from a big box store type of fish & the fries were just equally just commercial potato fries. The type of bad meal I could but would not make make myself at home. My lunch companions ordered 1) hamburger (26$, yes I said 26 dollars!!) & declared it a mistake. 2) a veggieburger (24) & also didn't enjoy the plate.
Now aside from the quality of the food - it's a fun place. Great location on the river flowing out of lake Memphremagog in Magog on Merry street. Terrific terrace for people watching & getting rowdy. The interior has a rustic decor of grab a beer & then some more, lol. The beer is delicious . I believe mine was called Kateville. A glass for 12$.
I did see the attraction - big versatile menu, lots of twenty something dollar poutines & a fun ambience with great beer!
So go, keep it basic & enjoy the beer.
We enjoyed a very nice evening at La Memphré. The service staff was very pleasant & attentive & the food & beer were excellent.
Good overall experience, repeat customers & we often pick this pub with our group when in Magog for a few days. Excellent service, good atmosphere & busy on weekends (how we like it), we always book ahead & never wait to be seated.
Good choice of beers with samplers available, varied pub-style menu, we like their soups, burgers, fish & chips, etc. Will return & recommend.

I found La Memphré to be a good experience, but never quite transcended that to be a great one. The food was pretty good & I found the beer selection okay, but was hoping for a few other options. The service was quick & very friendly, & the building was warm, welcoming & comfortable.
Moderate to a tiny bit pricey ($9 CAD a beer, $20 CAD for a proper meal) but really very good. La principale & la grand dame beers are great (didn't try the others). La bucanière poutine also fantastic.
Good beer, burgers are a big miss. Also not the most friendly to English speakers
