We come at least once a year, without fail when visiting Montreal. It's a brewery that you can't miss because of the rotating taps & seasonal selections. The sours are always great, as are the IPAs. The pizza slices next door at Tony are an easy way to round out your evening during the summer. Highly recommend!
Fun brewery with some decent options on tap. They have seasonal offerings & other staples that stay year round.
They have a pizza shop from a well known pizzeria setup there which is great if you want a good slice to have with your good cold pints.
Definitely recommend for any beer lover. Atmosphere with their outdoor seating is also a great vibe
Cute little brewery near Jean Talon market. Perfect for a chill afternoon catch up with friends. They have about 10 beers on tap with some snacks & small bites, the decor is non pretentious & very relaxed. The service was great - very friendly staff. Loved it all around!
Visited on July 10th, 2021, in early afternoon. Located just off Jean Talon Blvd, a block east of St Hubert Street & three blocks east of Jean Talon Metro station, it's almost a hole in the wall. A small brewpub next to a public parking lot, the inside is quite spacious. Some medium & long communal tables, a patio in front. Eight taps (six where available), including two for lagers. They had two of each styles, IPA's, lagers & saisons, I had the helles (ok) & an Vermont style IPA (very good). You can buy some to go, available in 12 & 16 oz cans. They have no food, but I saw a few people who brought some. Good & friendly staff & the place is handicap friendly! A great addition to the Petite-Patrie district!
My favourite neighbourhood brewery. Always 8 beers on tap & cans to go.
Stopped in on a recommendation because I'm a Tolkien fan. But oh, the beer. Fabulous lagers. & most important, they know how to pour. Jasti is a certified Lukr Tapster & he's trained the staff well. Fred & Florence can give you the perfect Hladinka, Snyt or-if you're looking for a lighter drink-a Mlíko. & you know it's a good establishment when the employees are dancing & high fiving behind the bar! I highly recommend Mellön!
Bright & friendly brewpub a few blocks from Jean Talon métro & market. Picnic tables & a few stools at the bar. They have a cute terrace in the summer. 8 taps, including two Lukrs. Good variety of beers, with emphasis on lagers. Service was excellent, the staff knows their beers. Didn't try anything to eat, they only have basic snacks. Prices are typical for high end brewpub beers, but they serve in proper Czech mugs. Definitely worth stopping by if you're going to the market, & walkable to the other brewpubs & beer bars in the area.
Super friendly local brewery. Has a great range of beer on tap & for sale.
What a calm & relaxing atmosphere they have cultivated. I loved the cozy beerhall vibe, I imagine it's a great spot in warm weather too. There were snacky foods that I did not have, but beer by the pitcher I had plenty of. Come for the lovely beers on tap, stay for the atmosphere.
