Not only extraordinary vegan cuisine but very good allergen friendly! The poutine, pogos & fried Oreos were sublime. Would come back to Montreal just for this. Quite a good margarita too!

Had high hopes for this place after seeing it featured on the Crave show Evolving Vegan. Unfortunately, when we arrived we found out their fridge had broke down the night before & they didn't have a lot of the menu items available. Just so happens to two dishes I was really looking forward to the pogo & the wings were off the menu as well as a few others. We settled on the Nashville sandwich, the Benedict & the fries & gravy. Fries & gravy were good & a great portion size. The Benedict was our least favourite. The Nashville was good & the best thing we had. The restaurant is small & seating is tight. Very hot inside. Bathroom was clean but poorly lit.

Unbeatable vegan poutine. The fries & the gravy taste exactly like the standard poutine, & while the cheese curds are softer than normal, their taste & texture are absolutely spot on. The portion sizes are also very satisfying. I strongly recommend grabbing a poutine & either eating at the restaurant or in the nearby carré Saint-Louis.

Super bon petit casse croute végane... Je donne 5 étoiles pour l'ensemble de l'entreprise ( nourriture , service & ambiance ) mais j'enlève quelques fractions de points car je trouve qu'il pourrait y avoir un brin plus de choix sur le menu &/ou plus de disponibilité.

La bouffe y est bonne, le service lent pour la petite salle que s'est. Le pire du pire est vraiment l'odeur & le manque de respiration dans la pièce, ça sent tellement la graisse de fond de cantine que ça lève le coeur, on est sortis nos vêtements & nos cheveux sentaient comme si on avait nous même baignés dans l'huile, j'ai faillit sortir dehors respirer à plusieurs reprises. Il y avait beaucoup de boucane dans la salle à manger. Très décevant ! Les plats étaient bons, mais la serveuse n'était pas en mesure de nous conseiller puisque celle-ci n'avait pas goûté les plats ce que je trouve triste ! Bref, une expérience assez désagréable.

The well-seasoned mac & cheese was delicious especially topped with the mushroom wings. The pogo tasted very similar to a meat based one. Friendly service. The Desperado was waaay too sour originally but it was fixed quickly when I pointed it out & then tasted more like a Mezcal margarita. My friend said his drink was watered down a bit & only tasted like regular iced tea, so maybe don't go for the cocktails. Cute decor. Good classic oldies music.

Had a long layover in Montreal & needed a place open a little later with vegan options. Was very excited to find Maynard, an all vegan rest open till 11. I had the burger & buffalo poutine with an orea milk shake. Everything was fantastic & the service was phenomenal. If you are in the area definitely give them a try.

Came here for dinner. Everything here is vegan, & the poutine is phenomenal. They also do burgers with impossible burgers. As a plant-based/vegan myself, is wonderful to find new places to eat where you don't need to compromise or fall back to vegetarian options. The atmosphere is warm, small & informal with a southwestern vibe. Not really a place for large groups. The poutine dishes we got were Petit-sized, which were perfect for two adult guys. Will definitely come here again!!

Best vegan poutine I've ever had! I'm so happy to have stumbled upon Maynard while looking for a quick bite. The atmosphere was super cute & the food was exceptionally delicious & reasonably priced.

Great spot for an affordable, filling meal. Unfortunately many options from the menu were unavailable on our visit, but the staff was accommodating & whipped together some poutine with available ingredients. :)

Loved it! Great little vegan place with very friendly staff. My wife & I are not vegan but we enjoyed it all very much. Great casual place for anyone.

All vegan restaurant. The kitchen is visible, so could see that the owner was very efficient & skilled as he prepared the food. Very reasonably priced too! The vegan cheese was sold out for poutine, though the tofu burger & fries, & mac & cheese were delicious. Fun atmosphere with vegan cookbooks & plants in ketchup containers.
