Interesting menu of comfort food with vegan ingredients.
I ordered the Tex Mex Poutine which incorporates bits of Impossible Meat, vegan cheese, a spicy gravy with the fries. It was not bad but unfortunately the cheese was completely cold. They probably added it too late so they didn't melt at all.
The staff was friendly & the service was pretty fast.
The overall experience was Ok & I'm sure the restaurant fills a demand among the vegan population but as a meat-eater who occasionally enjoys vegan food I would probably choose other places such as Chu Chai or Oplante.

It was my first time going to a vegan restaurant & lets just say I was really happy of what I got. As a muslim, it was fun to know that I didn't need to worry about the mest content (so cool!).
The girl serving us was super nice even though she was pretty busy.
My friend & I got each a small poutine & it filled us up. The flavors were just rught & the sauce was goood (we ate it when it was cold, because we took it as a take out & it was still very good!).
Oh but the fried oreos ARE A MUST. They were sooo goood, I will definitely come back for those! 🤣

Fantastic vegan BBQ food that will fill you up like nothing else, & deep fried oreos! I'm an omnivore so I still eat meat, but I'll never miss it if I keep going here!

The tofu Nashville really hits those greasy umami cravings! Also, really enjoyed the kimchi fries.

I got the spicy Nashville tofu sandwich, fries & fried Oreos. All were incredible, especially the fried Oreos. You haven't lived until you've tried them cause GOD DAYUM. Atmosphere is very clean, hipster & homey. Service was fast & waiter was kind. Can't wait to come back. Big portions too.

Had a fantastic late dinner there a few weeks back! The vibes are great, the staff is friendly & the nashville poutine was incredibly delicious!

Loved the atmosphere & interior decor. The comfort classic menu is fantastic & really hits the spot. Best vegan poutine I've had! I loved the mac n cheese just wish it had a bit more seasoning. The mushroom buffalo wings on the mac was super yummy! The service was fast, friendly, & attentive. The portions were good & priced well. Would definitely come here again.

A fun & chill place to get some Americans type comfort food. Fried Oreos, right? It helps that it's all vegan. Although I'm not a fan of cheese curds, theirs was surprisingly good (if you like cheese curds) because they source it from a small place in Canada. The service was cool, my thanks to my server Teya.

Maynard's is a fantastic, period. But in particular it is an amazing place for people with food allergies & the "comfort" food is fantastic!! The vibe is great & so is the beverage list. Vegan & non vegans alike will love the food! Dedicated vegan restaurant that is ALSO PEANUT, TREE NUT & SESAME FREE!!!!! In fact, one of their cooks is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts & sesame! So they get it! The poutine was fantastic! (Although I'd skip the vegan mozz curds, but that's just me) My daughter & I both had different grilled tofu sandwiches - Nashville & the BBQ- that were fantastic. Honestly, everything there is great! They hand cut potatoes as needed. Which creates amazing fries!! Homemade soy ice cream milkshakes that were fantastic Staff was so fantastic. The waitress was great! The owner came out to chat too. Had a great conversation about the fun wines he curates for the menu.

I wanted to treat some friends to a nice vegan meal, & I'm so glad I took them to Maynard's! As a vegetarian who eats a lot of cheese, I thought the vegan poutine was incredible. We also loved the wings & tofu sandwich, try it extra spicy if you're brave. 10/10.

Not only extraordinary vegan cuisine but very good allergen friendly! The poutine, pogos & fried Oreos were sublime. Would come back to Montreal just for this. Quite a good margarita too!

Had high hopes for this place after seeing it featured on the Crave show Evolving Vegan. Unfortunately, when we arrived we found out their fridge had broke down the night before & they didn't have a lot of the menu items available. Just so happens to two dishes I was really looking forward to the pogo & the wings were off the menu as well as a few others. We settled on the Nashville sandwich, the Benedict & the fries & gravy. Fries & gravy were good & a great portion size. The Benedict was our least favourite. The Nashville was good & the best thing we had. The restaurant is small & seating is tight. Very hot inside. Bathroom was clean but poorly lit.

Unbeatable vegan poutine. The fries & the gravy taste exactly like the standard poutine, & while the cheese curds are softer than normal, their taste & texture are absolutely spot on. The portion sizes are also very satisfying. I strongly recommend grabbing a poutine & either eating at the restaurant or in the nearby carré Saint-Louis.

The well-seasoned mac & cheese was delicious especially topped with the mushroom wings. The pogo tasted very similar to a meat based one. Friendly service. The Desperado was waaay too sour originally but it was fixed quickly when I pointed it out & then tasted more like a Mezcal margarita. My friend said his drink was watered down a bit & only tasted like regular iced tea, so maybe don't go for the cocktails. Cute decor. Good classic oldies music.
