Decent atmosphere but the food is lack luster & service is slow (three hours for lunch? really??). There are hidden charges that feel misleading & restricting rules about how billing works.
Went to dinner on a long weekend. Very crowded night. Need to hold my bottom to squeeze to the corner table assigned. Amazing food, with limited service from the server. Took more than 4 hours to complete the meal. Wait time for drinks, for food, & for our server to drop by are very very long. If I knew where to place order & get water, I would do it myself.

The food was savory, elegant & relaxing atmosphere, professional & very courteous service. Delighted with my experience at Marcus. For reference, went on a weekday at lunch time.
Service impeccable de l'apéro au dessert. Merci à Emma du Marcus pour son aide, sa disponibilité & sa flexibilité, nous avons passé une magnifique soirée!
Le Marcus est en 2 parties. Le lounge pour vous permettre de prendre un verre autour du comptoir ovale. Très belle salle & le jeudi soir, il y a un groupe live plutôt bon. Il laisse place ensuite a une DJ.
Pour la brasserie, la salle est vraiment très très belle. La carte est tres belle & variée. Les plats sont tres fins, enfin ceux que j'ai goûté. Belle carte de vins. Les prix sont légèrement au dessus des prix moyens par rapport a d'autres brasseries. Manger au comptoir est un de mes plaisirs dans ce genre d'endroits. J'adore voir l'agitation en cuisine.
Tres bel endroit directement dans l'hotel four seasons.

We had dinner at the bar of Marcus on a Friday evening. The atmosphere was very vibrant. The oysters were fresh & the pasta with lobster was just delicious. A great start of the weekend.
Overall, au prix qu'était le repas, je m'attendais à vivre une'expérience culinaire'. La pieuvre était le double du prix qu'ailleurs, la portion était plus petite & la pieuvre était raide & ordinaire. À trois, trois cocktails ordinaires, une bouteille de vin & 3 entrées, ça a coûté presque 350$ & on mange mieux chez Saint-Hubert un jeudi soir.
Le service & l'ambiance étaient bons... mais rien ne vaut le rapport qualité-prix... 3/5 pour le prix, parce qu'à 150$, j'aurais donné 5/5. One word : overpriced !
I've had lamb in various parts of the world some good some not so good but for the first time I've had unreasonable. The cost compared to the taste was unreasonable. There wasn't much flavor. Just grilled meat that was maybe soaked in vinegar to remove the overbearing meat smell before it saw the heat? & throw it on a plate with literally two pieces of vegetables for 32CA a piece. A sub par experience. Maybe something else on the menu was better but you'd think there would be something to justify the price in the actual meal but there wasn't it was just simply unreasonable. The atmosphere was just dimmed lights nothing special no live music or anything particularly special to justify the price just a bunch of pretentious patrons. I can't in good conscience come back.

2025 : Les brunch sont très so so. Le cadre est agréable, le service s'est dégradé depuis le temps. La moitié de la commande n'avait pas été respectée avec les restrictions mentionnés. À part le cadre, la qualité de la nourriture + le service ne justifient pas les prix pratiqués. Ça reste commode pour les grands groupes & pour les réservations des brunchs les fins de semaine.
2019 : Excellent service, la nourriture êtait globalement bonne, les quantités pourraient être amélioré. Des pâtes champignons truffes à 55$ qui etaient très bonnes mais nous sommes restés sur notre faim.
Il y a trois ans, j'ai eu le plaisir de dîner avec mon épouse au Marcus Restaurant & Lounge du Four Seasons à Montréal, & ce fut une expérience mémorable. La fraîcheur & la qualité des fruits de mer étaient exceptionnelles, & chaque plat, de l'impressionnant plateau de fruits de mer aux pâtes raffinées au homard, était un véritable délice. L'ambiance élégante & le service attentif ont rendu notre soirée encore plus spéciale. Un lieu incontournable pour les amateurs de gastronomie fine à Montréal.
C'est une super place pour vrai ! Le service & l'ambiance sont toujours au rendez-vous. Le menu même si un peu simple & vraiment de qualité je ne suis jamais déçu 👍

J'ai eu le plaisir de savourer le brunch du dimanche au Marcus, & je tiens à exprimer toute ma gratitude pour cette expérience remarquable.
Installée au comptoir, j'ai pu observer en direct le ballet parfaitement orchestré de la cuisine, dirigé avec maîtrise par la sous-chef Cannelle. La rigueur, l'organisation & la synchronisation de l'équipe étaient impressionnantes. C'était un véritable spectacle culinaire, captivant à regarder.
J'ai choisi la formule brunch complète, & chaque service a été un ravissement :
🍊 Le jus d'orange, très frais & juteux, donnait le ton.
🥯 L'assiette de bagel au saumon fumé, accompagnée d'une salade fraîche, était délicieuse.
🥑 Le toast à l'avocat, tomate & feta était savoureux, parfaitement assaisonné.
🍰 & pour conclure, la brioche à la cannelle en dessert était absolument succulente.
Le service a été impeccable, attentionné & fluide du début à la fin. L'ambiance raffinée du lieu a rendu l'expérience encore plus agréable.
Un immense merci à toute l'équipe pour ce moment d'exception. Je recommande sans hésiter.
The chef table experience was wonderful. Appreciate the thoughtfulness in crafting a menu that was suited to my dietary needs. The service was exquisite. The meal started with caviar on a latke that was crispy on the outside & creamy inside. Next was a bluefin tuna tartare with wasabi cream & radishes, this dish was beautiful & had the perfect balance of textures. Our third dish was a caramelized scallop with a dairy free hollandaise sauce, the sauce was tart & absolutely delicious. The next dish was the stand out for me, steamed cod with the most amazing vegetables-this was absolute perfection! The last dish was a cherry sorbet inside a vanilla meringue cup which was so pretty! Really appreciated this addition, as finding dairy free & gluten free desserts can be challenging. Absolutely recommend this experience. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
Also a note, we had breakfast at this restaurant as well & everything was great. The chia pudding is amazing! There are dairy free & gluten free options for breakfast!
