Booked for Montreal en lumière brunch for 10am & was told on arriving that brunch would start at 11am for the special service. Our server told us the same thing happened the day before to other guests. We debated leaving but decided to sit & wait for the full hour. The first course was meat, eggs, potatoes, & toast. The quality was fine, but the potatoes were cold. The next few courses were raw veggies with olive oil, anchovy & onion toast, & & beignets. Dessert was frozen nougat rolled in pistachios. This was the most disappointing Montreal en lumière meal we have ever had, none of the dishes justified the $95 per person price tag. Our server was well meaning, but inattentive. We had to ask for more water, & at no point were we asked if we enjoyed the food, even though several things were sent back. Overall, a very disappointing experience, will not be back or recommend.
C'était notre première fois à ma conjointe & moi. Super service très attentionné à l'écoute des clients & une connaissance de son menu incroyable. La nourriture excellente honnêtement sous les recommandations de notre serveur nous avons adorer le repas. Un seul bémol( qui n'ai vraiment pas de la faute du restaurant) c'est que l'ambiance étais fort dans le sens où il fallait parler fort entre nous vu que le restaurant étais pleins. Mais l'ambiance en général était super bien. Nous avons aimé & nous recommandons ce restaurant. À notre prochaine escapade d'amoureux nous y retournons sans exception :)

super bon service de la part de mon serveur toutefois tous les autres personnes qui m'ont servis m'ont adressé la parole en anglais ce qui est fort désagréable il ne faut pas oublier qu'on vous demande votre nom a l'arrivée & avec un nom comme Jean fort probable que je sois francophone mon premier serveur le savait, alors ou est le problème de plus suite à la suggestion de mon serveur pour le vin, c'est une autre personne qui est venu me servir & comme je n'ai pas aimé le choix du serveur j'ai avisé la personne qui semblait perplexe de mon refus, jusqu'à ce qu'elle comprenne que ce n'était pas mon choix pour la nourriture & bien j'ai pris le plat du jour & c'était décevant quand on sert un plat avec peu d'ingrédients tout doit être parfait malheureusement la crevette n'était pas a la hauteur de son prix
Beautiful open kitchen restaurant & lounge. Love the crystal drapery & stunning stone work on the bar & tables. Brunch was delicious with variety of omelettes options & mimosas.

Service is friendly. However, the taste of the food did not meet expectations. It's not a taste worth paying this price to come back for. The portion size is very small, so it's a main dish, but it's almost like an appetizer or dessert.
Pour une première expérience, je lève mon chapeau! La nourriture était très bonne, les boissons succulentes & le service EXCELLENT! Notre serveur Wilhelm était à l'écoute de tous nos besoins, très attentif & très présent. Son accueil chaleureux nous a donné le goût de rester toute la journée!! Je dois dire que le soucis du détail était au rendez-vous! Merci!!!!
Marcus Lounge in Montreal impresses yet again! Visited for a drink & as always, their cocktails were spot on. The Bourbon Sour is a must-try, perfectly mixed. But the real highlight was the Olivier Jules, a personal creation of mine, which they crafted to perfection. It's places like this that make Montreal's cocktail scene truly special. Cheers to Marcus Lounge! 🍸👌

I am very disappointed at the service & attitude I received at the lounge I am a Marcus fan club & for the past weeks I have been going every week. I love the vegetarian option on the menu plus the tomato watermelon salad. 2 weeks ago on a Saturday night I took a freind who was visiting from Chicago to Marcus lounge. We got there at 8:30 pm & it so dead. The reason was because there was Christmas parties all around. The A assistant refused to let us in !!!! I was shocked & embarrassed in front of my freind. The guy did not let us in & gaslighted & insulted me. I m very upset & disappointed. So I am going again with my sick colleagues.
This is an excellent restaurant. The staff was professional & very welcoming. The atmosphere was light & all areas of the restaurant were very clean including the washrooms. They have a great lounge space to take amazing pictures with good lighting. The food was amazing. 10/10. The waiter was very nice, & was up to our expectations. My partner & I had an amazing time.
