As always, since we enjoyed the terrasse here a few years ago, we enjoyed last night immensely, feeling treated, with cooking & quality of ingredients a cut above for generosity & freshness, & the considerate, timely service of Kevin. The wine list does not disappoint. On the Table d'hôte we enjoyed the crab cakes, as good as at any beach resort, with a thin crispy crust, & the thin-crust pizza made in a traditional wood-fired oven, with a request accommodated for using blue cheese instead of the goat cheese for my husband. (It was similar to my favorite Francesca pizza on the à la carte menu.) The house-made tiramisu is a very generous portion, & does not exclude any traditional ingredients like the liqueur. The mascarpone was smooth & rich, the lady finger cookies fresh & delicious. Our birthday guest received a festive sparkler & we sang happy birthday. If you'd like to celebrate, or simply feel too tired to cook dinner, or want a lunch treat, try Le Vieux Four. I am SO happy for this discovery, & was reluctant to share, in case reservation space disappeared! It is now our "go to" spot, & EVERY service person's genuine attentiveness is really rare today, with such good food, from savory veal, to pizza, crispy, hot calamari or the arancini, try everything, you won't be sorry!!!! Worth every $.
Les pizzas sont vraiment très bonnes ! Je recommande une 3 fromages sans jambon & le tiramisu 🤩 Le chef pizzaolo Ahmed & le serveur Matt nous ont très bien servis. Nous reviendrons !

It was our first time there. Our waitress had a very big attitude problem. My son ordered a salmon tartare & came extremely spicy. He could not handle it. I tasted it & it was indeed spicy. Waitress argued that she tasted it & it wasn't. She didn't even propose to change or take it back. service took very long. Forgot to bring us 2 drinks as requested but they both appeared on the bill. You can guess how bad her attitude was when I pointed it out.
Réservation de groupe un samedi après midi pour un double anniversaire... Le service fut parfait... La nourriture fut très bonne... Les prix, bon, avec l'inflation ça coûte cher, mais la facture fut somme toute raisonnable.... Tout le groupe semblais satisfait ... Je ne peu que recommander l'endroit sans aucune retenue
un peu dispendieux le prix de vos salades repas & votre carte de dessert $$$

I love this restaurant but last night the service left a lot to be desired. I had to ask our waiter 3 times for the bill & when he finally brought it he had one person pay , ( we were 3) , left the machine on the table & walked away. Then 5 min later came back , had the second person pay , walked away again, 5 min later the last one of us paid & were finally able to leave. The food is always good , the ambiance is great but the server should understand that when someone asks for the bill several times they are ready to leave , & that he should remain at the table until all clients have paid. It shouldn't take an extra 30 min to get your bill & to pay. That being said I will still definitely go back again. I think it was a one off. 😊
