I ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza & was not disappointed. Solid amount of meat on the pizza. Smoked meat was a highlight. The cheese & pizza sauce were good too. Crust was airy yet crispy. Great pizza overall.
We also had the fried calamari as entree but I must say the portion was a little disappointing considering the price.
But other than that, the whole dining experience was very refined & the food tasted great. Next time I come back, I want to try the chicken parm.
I love this restaurant the most.Me & my husband celebrated 20 years of marriage, yesterday. My husband ordered chicken, but he didn't see that the chicken was made with ham & he doesn't eat red meat. Of course we wanted to pay extra because it was our mistake, the waiter was so kind, he immediately went & asked the kitchen to change the plate & of course they didn't charge us anything extra.By the way, I want to say to the owner that he has a very good staff & to the waiter, congratulations for his smile & kindness. I want to tell all readers that they will not regret going to this restaurant, because everything they choose is delicious, & if I could give a rating of more than 5 stars, I would give 10/10.👏👏
We had a really lovely experience at La Vieux Four Manago for our group dinner. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, & checked in regularly without making us feel rushed, which made everyone feel comfortable & well taken care of.
The food itself was great, & everything tasted very fresh. You could tell that care was put into the ingredients & preparation, which really stood out. The atmosphere was also very pleasant - warm, comfortable, & relaxed - making it easy for our group to sit back, enjoy our meal, & spend quality time together.
One thing we really appreciated was the menu selection. There was a large variety to choose from with something for everyone, including plenty of options for both kids & adults, which can sometimes be hard to find when dining as a group. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience & a place we would definitely visit again!
Made a reservation, but had to wait in a crowd by the door for a bit. Phone was ringing non stop & no hostess to be seen (packed on a Friday night). Had expected the terrace to be open by now but was disappointed. Then got a two top next to the window looking at the parking lot. I moved to have my back to the traffic. To be honest, it's the type of table that most restaurants hold for walk-ins but the hostess was young & seemed overwhelmed. My seat was covered in food crumbs & the table & menus were greasy. Server arrived & I mentioned it but she immediately lost her smile & seemed annoyed. We ordered a nice bottle of wine & she perked up. Everything from that point went well. She was attentive, but not overly friendly. We ordered a #23 & #24 & they exceeded our expectations. Dough was perfect, a little crispy & chewy enough to enjoy. Generous toppings & delicious sauce. All in all it was a reasonably priced meal as well. Last thing, I watched a busboy clear a table & he was very careless about wiping the table down, not paying attention to flinging the food crumbs everywhere. He actually knocked into my husband's back as he was leaving & my husband turned & said,'you good there bud?' but by then the young man just walked away. I would say that their staff needs a bit more supervision & training. But I know that it's hard to find staff these days unfortunately.
