Pizza is amazing. Cooked in a wood fire oven. They can turn any pizza on the menu into a calzone. The brie & pear salad is also really good. Highly recommended. The pasta is not fresh/made in house, just an FYI. They offer gluten-free penne only. The service was quick despite being busy. Our waitress Anna was polite & helpful. Extensive wine list. They have a full bar so you can order almost any drink you want.View more

Bonjour, j'y suis allée 2 fois cette année & les plats sont encore aussi savoureux. Comme entrée j'ai pris de délicieuses & goûteuses polpettes accompagnées de bons pains chauds. & une salade cesar avec poulet comme plat principal a clotûré mon repas. Quant à la table des vins, elle est n'a rien à envier aux autres grands restaurants. & que dire du service beaux sourires & rapidité étsient présents. This restaurant never disappoints you. The food is fresh & delicious & the service impeccable. I love their pizza. It's hard to find vegetarian meals that are worth the outing but this is just amazing food for any diet. Their meal salad is truly a meal. Yes it's a little pricey but you don't leave here feeling like you could have done better elsewhere. My husband & I shared a half seafood half vegetarian pizza & the baby spinach salad & it was all awesome! Update: I usually enjoy the food here but I think something has changed. The quality of the food & then portions just aren't the same. The plates used to be so grand & the presentation & ingredients so good but last night, a very busy Tuesday because of the golf tournament nearby left me so disappointed I'm not sure I'll go back even after all of the previous good experiences I had. We had an escargot entree & it was watery. My husband suspects that they were frozen & that was melted ice in the dish. I told the waitress that it tasted like water that had diluted all of the garlic butter & she said she would tell the kitchen but never came back with any follow-up. I had the eggplant parmigiana & I agree with another reviewer's description, it was a blob of cheese with some sauce & a few thin bits of eggplant. Something a deli would serve not an Italian restaurant let alone this one! I really think they're cheaping out on ingredients & it's just a matter of time before the regulars catch on & stop going like me. Fyi for an amazing eggplant parmigiana go to Piazza Romana. Note to the owner, you've lost your once loyal customer who referred everyone to you. I hope you fix the problem before it puts you out of business.View more

I haven't been to this restaurant since before Covid. I was really excited to go & eat there. The food has really changed since I've been there. We ordered a Caesar salad & it was completely tasteless. I ordered lasagna & it was way too sweet & I really didn't enjoy it at all. The spaghetti & meatballs were very sweet & my husband said he didn't like it. The service was really good though. I don't think we will be going back anytime soon. It was expensive & I prefer other Italian restaurants in the area much more. I'm very disappointed with our meal.View more

Première fois à cet endroit. Invité par ma soeur & son mari, nous avons adoré. Servi par Sébastien qui y travaille depuis 7 ans. Avons été très bien servi, nourriture excellente & bonne ambiance. Nous avons essayé une pizza avec oignons caramélisés & fromage de chèvre; un délice! Accompagné de salade César & d'un Valpolicella. Nous y retournerons pour le veau très bientôt 😊View more

The food here is absolutely amazing. I have now been here five times & had something different each time. I went with the steak & my wife got the chicken Manago. Spot on perfect blend of everything. But more importantly to me is the service . With servers like Amy & Liam, We felt like a King & Queen. Nothing for a moment was needed. Everything was spot on perfect service. Their personalities were absolutely amazing to match the awesome atmosphere here. Even though the restaurant got really busy really fast, we were still taking care of with absolute precision & meaning. This restaurant is one of the best gems in the West Island❤️ I recommend just about everything they have from the pasta to their amazing soups & salads, & Large size sizes.View more

Honestly, no kidding: there is not a bad choice to make on this wonderful restaurant's menu. I used to go more frequently when I was employed by pharma companies in close driving proximity. But I hadn't been in a while & I am happy to report their quality of food is still topnotch. They have been in business here for 28 years (I asked the manager how long they've been open when I was there yesterday) & with the usual whiplash speed most other West Island restaurants last, this is not a negligible fact. I swear, each of their pizzas (fired up in their infamous wood burning oven), pastas (think fettuccini Gigi, & absolutely any of their options) salads (think best Caesar ever, or candied pears), tartares (salmon, beef, so fresh), table d'hôte, best tiramisu anywhere....seriously no possibility for a bad choice. Yes the prices have raised as with all restaurants with our current economy. But that's everywhere. So on that level playing field, this restaurant is not just for West Island résidents. It's for,food lovers everywhere. Forgot to say they are generous with their portions & offer up containers for taking home seamlessly. Come on!View more

It was my first visit, & I thought it was fine. The food was good, but not particularly memorable. The salads were fresh & delicious, but the escargots were totally overdone. Our pasta dishes were perfectly fine, but also didn't stand out in any way. The pizza was very good. They did a decent job with the cocktails. The service was adequate, but our server forgot one dish, got another one wrong, & was visibly distracted when we placed our orders & asked questions. I'd be willing to go back, but overall this was a middling experience.View more

via LibroI wanted to order a grilled extreme chicken salad on a bed of greens,tomatoes,grilled red peppers etc . I was disappointed to be told the restaurant ran out of greens. How does that happen.So I ordered a veg pizza which was extremely thin & to oily. My husbands meal was very good.

I have to follow a very strict gluten free diet & I’ve been twice with no bad outcome. Waitstaff is knowledgeable. Several pasta options (pasta is cooked in separate water), salads, appetizers & likely some chicken dishes. I’m sensitive to cross-contamination & have had no issues & two delicious meals. Every meal looks great. Definitely recommend if you want a good meal & need to be gluten free! Only gave 4 stars because they have a beautiful wood fired pizza offering but no GF pizza.View more

Service was spotty & inconsistent. I also observed an owner server who consistently served the man before his lady guests. What happened to ladies first?
Salad served to mr before mrs, main same, drinks also. I was quite taken aback. The lady server knew the gentleman & constantly catered to him.
via LibroOne. Person in our party, was disappointed with the veal parmesan , too thick a piece. He was convinced it was not veal. Disappointed I couldn't get a meat sauce for pasta, Did not enjoy the tortellini. Soup & salad was very good

The only little downfall is it can be quite loud ... but one if my favorite restaurants of all times. The arugula salad & pizzas are heavenly!

We were a group of 9 people & everyone enjoyed their food. There was a combination of pasta dishes, pizza, veal & salads & everyone liked their choices.
Staff was very friendly & food was served up hot & on time.
Good location in West Island with plenty of free parking too !

via LibroThe food was excellent with Shrimp Linguine done exquisitely & pizza cooked to perfection. The salad needed more cheese shavings to be interesting. I deducted one star because service should have been a bit more attentive. Restaurant was not at all busy & waiter had to be asked for fresh pepper, parmigiana cheese, & even drinks. Maybe he was new to staff. My cocktail was served in what appeared to be a freshly chipped glass (it was sharp). Drink was replaced but I have a strong feeling the drink was just transferred to a new glass & not replaced because it was returned in seconds.
