Probably the best Montreal restaurant I've tried in the past year. The decor is warm & welcoming, the food was well prepared with great portions (something rare in 2024 lol) & the whole staff is very attentive/well trained. Just to tell you how good it was: I went back the next day

In a city that has Milos, no one should ever go to mama c. The food is average but they charge top price for it. Given the decor & price it was disappointing

Every detail, from the lighting to the furnishings, is beautifully curated, making it a feast for the eyes before you even take a bite. As for the food, it's nothing short of exquisite. Each dish is prepared with finesse, offering flavors that are both rich & refined. From the starters to the desserts, every plate was a delightful experience, clearly crafted with care & creativity. Mama C is the kind of place where both the setting & the cuisine elevate your dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable & delicious meal in a beautifully designed space.
Pretty much like the what everyone is saying, beautiful place love the decor. *The food was tasty but very pricey & when u order the fish 🐟 doesn't come with No rice or vegetables on the dish. *You need to add a side dish . ($) The portions are a decent size. I'm happy I got to try the restaurant once , but it's nothing to die for. I wouldn't say OMG I want to come eat here every week. The hostesses was very professional, excellent service. 🤩 I saw a waiter pickup dirty glasses by hands & not on a tray. Not professional. * unfortunately in front of the restaurant there's Big construction 🚧, & not easy to find parking. I suggest arrive with taxi or Uber or park in the hotel. Or valet parking.
Recently, my friends & I had the pleasure of dining at a new Greek restaurant nestled in the heart of Old Montreal, right under a famous hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped by the restaurant's stunning decor & vibrant atmosphere. The combination of traditional Greek elements & modern design created an inviting space that truly set the stage for an enjoyable evening. The service was top-notch throughout our visit. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, & eager to share recommendations, which added a personal touch to our dining experience. It's always nice when the staff genuinely care about making your meal memorable. As for the menu, while there were several enticing options to choose from, we did find ourselves wishing for a broader selection typical of a Greek restaurant. Unfortunately, some of the dishes we had our hearts set on were unavailable that night, which was a slight disappointment. Nonetheless, the food we did order was well-prepared & flavorful, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Greece. While we can't wait to return & explore more of the menu, we did find the prices to be on the high side, which might make frequent visits a little challenging. However, the combination of the enchanting atmosphere, attentive service, & delicious food makes it a worthwhile experience for special occasions or a delightful night out in Old Montreal. Overall, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit. With its charming ambiance & great service, it has all the makings of a promising new spot in the city!
Gorgeous ambiance in the Nelligan Hotel. Upscale chic decor with lots of natural wood & soft hidden lighting throughout. Perfect spot for either a date or with her together with friends. Service is welcoming & warm. Waitstaff are professional & friendly. Food is superb - lots of creative interpretations of Greek classics & reimagined old school favorites make for an impressive but playful menu. Worth multiple visits!

This restaurant is a gem! The decor is stunning, & it creates such a welcoming & cozy atmosphere. The food was incredible. The highlight of the evening, though, was the service. Joseph was fantastic, going above & beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. Definitely recommend! :)

The decor strikes a perfect balance between authenticity & retro chic, with vintage decor & music setting a lively yet nostalgic mood.The menu is a delightful homage to Greece's culinary traditions, with a modern twist. Each dish is a testament to the authentic flavors of Greece, crafted from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Standout dishes include the grilled octopus, tender & perfectly seasoned, & the moussaka, which is rich, creamy, & comforting. The tzatziki is a revelation - creamy, garlicky, & refreshing, it's the perfect companion to warm, freshly-baked pita bread. 🤩 our new favourite spot
