Cute brunch spot. Service is great. Dining room is stunning. Good selection of dishes on the brunch menu, but all we had was coffee, a croissant & the Greek yogurt dish. Will probably come back for dinner.

Exceptional from start to finish. Shoutout to the sous chef & our waitress Melissa. Try the fish of the day, the beat salad, & the Greek salad. The 12-month Assyrtiko was a 10/10.

We had a most enjoyable family lunch, with eleven of us, including four children. The menu was most original, with classic dishes, most with a Greek take on them (steak tartare is divine!). Our waitress, Melissa, was amazing, possibly one of the best servers I have had the pleasure to experience. It started when we entered & she took the initiative to seat our family in a quiet corner. Melissa was incredibly patient in taking our order, creative with her recommendations, especially when it came to the kids' order. Throughout the meal, Melissa was attentive & proactive & made our luncheon a wonderful reunion.

We enjoyed our lamb dishes, roasted beets & more but despite a minor setback. I guess we were expecting Greek authenticity when ordering Paprika Fries with'Mizithra' cheese. Our friend having just come back from Greece called it. When we asked them they brought some jarred Parmesan??

I honestly don't understand why this place is only rated 4.4 as it deserves so much higher! I'll admit, I was hesitant to come after reading some of the reviews, but I'm so glad I did. I brought a client here, & we ended up ordering almost everything on the menu - every single dish was outstanding.
The octopus was perfectly seasoned & juicy, the moussaka was beautifully done, the Greek salad was fresh, & even the beef mignon was incredibly tender. The service, staff, decor, & ambiance were all impeccable.
I'll definitely be coming back with friends & clients alike. If you're reading this, don't let the online rating fool you, go try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Outrageously good food & service at this upscale Greek establishment. Our server Ilian was so good - knowledgeable & friendly with a good sense of humor too. Really from the first moment stepping in, we had excellent service from the hostess, bartender & the wait staff. Definitely not cheap but well worth it!

Love this restaurant. Been a few times now & truly enjoy it. Food is amazing. All the plates were very savoury. Service is great & ambiance is perfect. Not too noisy either. Best greek restaurant in the city. Prices are not exaggerated for location.

High end Greek food. VERY well presented, & very good tastes. My wife thought her fish filet was done perfectly. Easy going, but special. Definitely worth a return visit.

this greek restaurant has good service & the ambience is nice. me & my family had greek salad moussaka fish & fava beans we also had paprika fries on the side. my greek salad was good for the first 10 or so bites but after that the dressing kind of overpowered the dish. For dessert we had bougatsa & this was amazing it had oozy chocolate & salted caramel sauce to put on top of & it was really good. Overall.

The food is really average, octopus mezze didn't taste like anything, the greek salad absolutely boring. The dessert ( halva) nothing to write home about. Very expensive bad experience.

Disappointing Birthday Dinner & Chef's Menu at Mama C
We chose Mama C for a birthday dinner (5 girls), & while our server was incredibly friendly, the experience was a letdown. We requested light, veggie-focused dishes with no raw food due to a pregnancy. Despite this, we opted for the Chef's Menu, expecting the best.
Instead, the first course was raw, & every subsequent dish was overly creamy, rich, & repetitive. The final course was two disappointing pasta dishes - not what we came to a Greek restaurant for. Portions were doubled, leading to excessive waste. One pasta dish tasted horribly fishy, resulting in diarrhea for all of us & vomiting for one later that night.
When we voiced our disappointment about the lack of fresh seafood, our server admitted she knew the Chef's Menu wasn't adaptable & suggested a custom menu for a return visit. This was frustrating - why wasn't this offered initially, especially after we stated our preferences? The service was also incredibly slow; our 7 PM reservation ended at 11:15 PM.
Overall, despite a great server, the Chef's Menu at Mama C failed to deliver, leaving us unwell & completely underwhelmed.

Food is excellent. Some of the best Greek cuisine in old Montreal. Ambiance is romantic, low lighting, candle light - perfect for a date night. Service is lacking. No smiles, partially ignored, no acknowledgement. This could be improved on.

The experience was exceptional & credit is due to the wait staff & the chef. They really went above & beyond for a wonderful experience. The food was superb & healthy portions. The dining experience was incredible. All around, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone without hesitating for a moment. I look forward to going back! I am not Greek so I don't remember the names for all the dishes but we ordered 3 mains & 2 appetizers & everyone was superb.
