Shish taouk was good, but its the victim of the trend , havings tons of different sauce.
Fries, im not a fan but it was ok
But ketchup ? i dont get this part

Malak el Taouk mérite plus que 5 étoiles! Tout est IMPECCABLE! Le service, les sandwichs, la location, tout! Déjà quand on rentre on se sent très bien de la propreté & l'organisation de cette place. Ils étaient occupés comme toujours mais ça vaut la peine de faire une queue. During my recent visit, I noticed that the taouk tasted different. Additionally, I was concerned about hygiene when I saw a woman & a man preparing sandwiches while chewing gum. For a restaurant that adheres to the ISO 22000 food safety management standard, chewing gum should be prohibited for staff to maintain high hygiene standards.Voir plus

Really less than average. Big large portions but the problem is that not was not tasty. Nothing to do with the real deal you would have in Lebanon & even in the UAE. The ketchup addition beats me. While it is common in the traditional lebanese potato sandwich, it really is a twist that I find strange in the shish taouk. Still, some people seem to appreciate it: good for them. Let me lay it as is , I'm 48 years old grew up with these sandwiches, it's close but not there, like Lebanon. Burger is good, taouk is cold & dry, it was left for too long on the grille, probably cooked in advance as you see in the pic & piled up to keep up with the rush. Soujouk is not edible , has nothing to do with Soujouk, French fries sandwich is ok, but not enough French fries in the sandwich , liver was not bad , I would have left a 3 star but bash is a friend . I left a 4 star. Quality of food needs to be worked on. This is not the Malek Al Taouk we know. Yes, I lay it as is, even if it's a friend's place... sorry Bash. A fast food restaurant is often just a place to grab a quick bite to go. This place is different for so many Lebanese people in Montreal. It takes us back to a hot summer day where we were hungry & craving a shish taouk sandwich. The food : very generous with all the ingredients. There's a hearty portion of chicken in the sandwich, which in itself is colossal. The service is excellent & the whole team makes you feel welcome. I'm guessing this is a family run operation for now because of the cohesion of the team & how they all work in sync. I hope they keep it up as time passes by. I can't wait for them to expand their menu to everything they are supposed to be offering, but it's insanely busy now. Sticking to shish taouk makes sense for the time being.Voir plus
