The food was absolutely delicious, with outstanding quality & rich flavors. The portions were generous, more than enough for one person, making it a great value for the price. The ambiance was warm & authentic, making me feel right at home. The decor beautifully reflects Persian culture, adding to the overall experience. On top of that, the customer service was exceptional!! everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, & attentive. Everything was just perfect! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic & high-quality Persian dining experience. Can't wait to go back!
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with a cozy & warm environment, & the food is aesthetically pleasing - but this is where the positives end. When you first sit down, you'll notice still or sparkling water bottles on the tables by default, which you'll be charged for if opened. The restaurant seems to employ every trick to extract maximum money from guests. They only bring the drink menu initially, claiming they want guests to order drinks first, & we had to wait 15 minutes to get the full menu. The appetizer portions were absolutely tiny, with less than a palm-sized portion of bread (which costs extra if you request more). The prices are very high, & unfortunately, the quality doesn't justify them. It's essentially an above-average place trying to charge fine dining prices. The rice dishes were heavily doused with rosewater, which completely masked every other flavor. The lamb shank was very tough, not soft & fall-off-the-bone as it should be. All the kebab dishes were disappointing since they don't have a real grill to cook them - they all had a gray color & were rather tough with occasional burn marks. The desserts, some of which weren't available, were quite underwhelming. Overall, if you've never had Persian food & mostly care about presentation & ambiance, you might be okay with this place. However, for anyone else, especially those familiar with Persian or even fusion Persian food, I suggest trying somewhere else, as the quality & prices don't match the aesthetics.
The food quality & the service were both great, & the environment was lovely.
This place was incredible! The food quality was outstanding & the staff were extremely polite & welcoming. I tried the shishlik & Adas Polo & each dish was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend them. The decor was beautiful, & the cozy atmosphere made me feel completely at home. Truly, one of the best restaurants in Montreal.
I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Iranian restaurant, & I must say, the food was outstanding! The Lubia Polo Tahchin had a truly authentic flavor that brought back memories of traditional Iranian cuisine, & the eggplant Tahchin was simply delicious with its rich, savory taste. The authentic flavors & quality of the dishes truly impressed me. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the best of Iranian cuisine!
The food is over-priced for the quality. The quality is okay, you would expect better with that price. The waiters are rude, specifically the guy who is responsible for sitting the guests. It is like he is doing you a favor for letting you inside the restaurant. & he is the first one you encounter when you go there. So you get an unwelcome feeling from the very first moment. The décor is very beautiful. I wish they had done a better job at hosting so we would want to come back. Plus, they should rename the "Shirazi" salad on their menu to "Greek" salad (almost). Regardless of the size of the ingredients, a Shirazi salad never comes with feta cheese.
The atmosphere was nice but the food was not good. We spent $118 for tahchin & loobia polo & 2 drink. Not worth the money. The quality & taste of the food were so disappointing.
Pleasant atmosphere, good quality of food, good behavior of waiters. The only negative point, in my opinion, was the high price compared to the type of food, as well as the limitation of the number of dishes on the menu.
Nice place, friendly staff, but very small portion with average quality.
Wonderful experience. Very professional & the tahchin quality is beyond amazing. They have paid a lot of attention to everything from atmosphere, furniture & food quality.
Really nice place! Congratulations to Poune & Pedram aziz. It's really high quality & luxury Persian restaurant. I really enjoyed the dishes & Nice ambiance with their friendly service. Wish you all the best & highly recommend the place to one who wants try real Persian Dish.
Where to start! The furniture selection & the tables looked like they were very manicured & original pieces. The service was fantastic & attentive. The server gave great information about the food choices & she paid attention to me after the meal was served. One of the owners came over to my table & introduced himself & asked me about my satisfaction with the meal. You could tell everyone working there really cared. I ordered the Shishlik & a Snowman kiss drink. The food itself was very high quality & authentic. It was served at the perfect temperature & I didn't have to wait on it. I would highly recommend coming here for an authentic Persian meal.
