Maison Inja was the first Iranian restaurant to show up in my search in Apple Maps, so I decided to go there. Best choice I could I have made. The restaurant environment was very beautiful & the servers were very friendly. The food itself was AMAZING, both in looks, taste, & texture. I'd say it was meal fit for the Shah & the Shahbanu. I truly recommend this place for anyone looking for traditional Iranian cuisine & look forward to visiting again someday.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, & the decor is beautiful. The portions are generous, & the staff were friendly & welcoming. The music was a bit loud (the speaker was behind me), but it was possible to turn it down.
I ordered the vegetarian dish with rice, mushrooms, & eggplant. It tasted good, but it was mostly rice, with relatively little of the mushrooms & eggplant. While I enjoyed the meal, I don't think it justifies the total price of $50 dollars (with taxes & 18% tip, for one dish only).
Overall, it's a nice place with good service, but I found the food to be overpriced for what was served.
This place feels like home. The food was warm, comforting, & beautifully prepared. It reminded me of the kind of meal a grandmother would make, the sort of food that brings comfort & makes you slow down & enjoy the moment
Atmosphere : The decor of the restaurant was beautiful. I was surprised we were the only two in the restaurant for dinner on a Friday.
Food:My friend & I asked the waitress for her suggestions on what we should order; we ordered exactly what was recommended. The taste of the food was definitely good. Unfortunately both my friend & I fell ill with what seems to be food poisoning shortly leaving the restaurant.
Price: very steep. Vodka lemonade priced at $24 a glass. About $200 for one shared appetizer & & two mains.
Service: friendly
Well, I can't express enough how beautiful, cozy, & well-designed this restaurant is. The touch of persian culture is in every corner. But the food was mediocre. It's pricy, & for that price, I expect something good. The service was ok. It's an expensive restaurant, but I don't think the food was worth the value. The design maybe.
Wonderful food & service. Beautiful restaurant. Our 3rd time- highly recommended
We had a lovely experience at this Persian restaurant. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, with beautiful décor that really captures a traditional yet cozy vibe. We started with the soup of the day which was really tasty. We also tried Tahchin Mirza Gilani which is new in their menu & was really really good. Overall, everything we had were thoughtfully made & full of flavor. I would highly recommend this place.
Also, the staff were really kind & care which we really appreciated.
Beautiful spot, but the food was just okay. Our service was not satisfactory as we did wait for quite some time to be served. The staff mentioned they were busy, & apologized for missing us, but the establishment is quite small so I fail to see how so many floor staff can miss a table when there are so few.
We were there for our anniversary & it was honestly a disappointment to pay 240+ dollars for what we received. Portions were small, & my husband ordered pizza promptly after returning to our hotel lol. I've worked in the food service industry for over a decade & expect when a service is not satisfactory for some sort of action to be taken, especially since we booked for a special occasion; however, they missed the mark on hospitality last night.
