I actually had no idea about the restaurant prior, as my wife had planned my birthday outing & was pleasantly surprised at the hospitality, coziness, initmate & above all the knowledge that is emitted from here.
Highly recommend anybody who is looking into eating, everything from A to Z is top notch.
The food itself was out of this world, & a must try for any foodie. The environement, as soon as you walk in, you're transported to a very inviting atmosphere.
Chef An is talented, experienced, resourceful & above all passionate about her artistry.
Can't wait to go back & try her other menus as she plans new menus each season. So always a reason to go back as well !
Maison An Omakase was a remarkable experience. The food is 10/10, the atmosphere is inviting & warm, & the amount of culinary passion you get to witness from Chef An is truly a treat. This dining experience was mostly for my husband as I am not a big seafood fan but wow, I was able to enjoy every single food item because of Chef An. I highly recommend visiting & experiencing a one of a kind dining experience! You will not be disappointed! :)
This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in Montreal. It is an omakase with a Vietnamese twist. An is a magnificent chef with a warm personality & a very obvious passion for her restaurant. The 16-course tasting was very well paced, thought out, & it is obvious that she wanted to make Vietnam shine. The menu is seasonal & will change in the fall so we will be back in October.

The best experience I've had in Montreal. An absolutely thoughtful, creative & talented chef. Every detail was thought through, each of the the 16 services was more delicious & unique than the other. I can't recommend enough. I'll be back soon ♥?

A fantastic dining experience from start to finish! The layout is reminiscent of the establishments in Japan, long & narrow while sharing an intimate setting with the chef. Chef An goes into detail about each high quality ingredient & the thought process of the course. The creativity melding traditional Vietnamese flavors, while respecting the familiarity of Japanese dishes elevated with precision & upscale technique. Emily's service perfectly complimented the meal. It felt like being invited into a personal chef's home while they cooked & served you.
