The food was delicious, fresh, flavorful, & beautifully prepared. Every dish we tried was full of authentic taste & perfectly cooked.
Edit: After trying it again I really disliked it. The food is quite expensive compared with other places, which would be fine if it was great but it isn't. It looked good with a nice garnish of garlic chives, but the flavor profile was incredibly flat. Couldn't pick up the flavors of tamarind, fish sauce, sugar that you'd expect, it was quite dry & almost tasteless. Won't be back.
If you, like us, periodically require a'spicy food fix,' then allow me to point you toward our latest choice: @maithaicuisine.mtl. We came in with a craving… & left very satisfied with the heat.
To their credit, they offer different levels of spice. We politely-but firmly-encouraged them to treat'spicy' as a personal challenge. What arrived was essentially a bowl of Thai peppers with enough seeds to qualify as a horticultural project. 🔥 We gleefully mixed them into everything for the full, glorious, sinus-clearing experience. Zero regrets. Minimal remaining taste buds. 😅
We began with the absolutely incredible Bang Bang Tornado Shrimp-succulent shrimp wrapped in crispy, seasoned noodles that shattered with each bite. It was crunchy, savory perfection & disappeared from the plate at a suspiciously rapid pace.
For mains, we dove into a crispy pork stir-fry that was cooked to perfection-beautifully caramelized with just the right amount of fat (makes you close your eyes mid-bite 🤤 🤤). The Pad See Ew was equally outstanding: tender noodles, rich flavor, & the ideal balance to our self-inflicted spicy inferno. 🌶?
Naturally, we washed it all down with Thai iced tea, a sweet, creamy firefighter rescuing us from our own bravado. Absolute perfection.
A special shoutout to our server, Gooi, who was amazing-helpful, lightning-fast, & completely unfazed by our enthusiastic pepper requests. A true professional.
All in all, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We left happy & slightly glowing. If you're craving bold flavors, excellent service, & love spicy food, pay them a visit. Just maybe stretch first 😂 🍲 🌶?
This is a real Thai restaurant by Thai chef in Montreal. They speak Thai here.
We tried several dishes. Pad Thai, Khao Soi Gai, Larb, fried pork with Thai basil, etc. All are Thai tastes. All of them had genuine Thai flavors, & everyone in our family really enjoyed the food. Personally, I found the dishes very good, though they would be even better if the sweetness were slightly reduced.
If you want to have Thai food when you are in Mobtreal, we certainly recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant provides the real thai flavor. It is a hidden gems in Montreal. Appetizers were all perfectly cooked. Pad thai was so amazing. Definitely would come back again!
Amazing Thai food in the heart of Montreal! Everything tasted authentic, fresh, & full of flavor-just like home-style Thai cooking. The dishes were beautifully presented & perfectly balanced, & the service was warm & welcoming. You can really feel the passion of a family-run restaurant. Highly recommend Mai Thai Cuisine if you're craving real Thai food on St-Denis!
The restaurant atmosphere is very enjoyable. The food was very tasty, with a lot of flavor & huge portions. We were taken care by the wonderful staff, Gooi (I guess I spelled it right). A definite recommendation & closer to Metro Berri-UQAM.
The food was amazing. Very authentic filled with deep rooted Thai flavors. The staff were polite & humble. Will go again anytime.
I tried the Seafood Pad Kra Chai & found it a bit different from what I expected. On the menu, the dish looked colorful with visible shrimp, but the version I received was much darker in color, almost all brown, & seemed to have been soaked in soy sauce. The seafood itself was quite salty, which overpowered the other flavors.
I think with a lighter touch on the seasoning & presentation closer to the menu, this dish could be much more enjoyable.
I can confidently say this was one of the best Thai meals I've ever had! Absolutely authentic, incredibly flavorful, & made with so much care. Every dish we ordered was a hit, & the service was just as impressive!
We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp Tornado, Thai Hot Wings, & crispy calamari, all cooked to perfection. The shrimp had the perfect crunch with that addictive sweet-spicy glaze, the wings were full of bold Thai flavor, & the calamari was tender inside with just the right crispiness.
For our mains, we had the Pad Thai, Fried Rice, & Drunken Noodles, each one was packed with flavor & had that signature balance of sweet, spicy, savory, & tangy that Thai cuisine is known for. The Drunken Noodles in particular were a standout - perfectly chewy noodles, fresh veggies, & a bold sauce with just the right heat.
On top of the amazing food, the service was truly 10/10. The staff were friendly, attentive, & made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
If you're craving authentic Thai food that's bursting with flavor & served with heart, this is the place. I'm already planning my next visit!
Delicious Thai food with heartwarming service!
After a long & hectic day, Mai Thai Cuisine was just what we needed. Easily one of the best Thai meals we've had in Montreal! We asked for vegan versions of the dishes, & they were so flavorful & satisfying. It's a small, cozy spot, but the service stood out-super friendly, considerate, & genuinely humble. You can feel the care they put into both the food & the experience. Can't wait to come back!
As a Thai traveling across Canada & really missing authentic Thai flavors, I was so happy to find this place! The food tastes close to home, & the Plara Som Tum is actually even better than some I've had back in Thailand. This spot truly satisfied my craving for a good Thai meal. Highly recommend!

We had people who had recently went to thailand & came back & this place really quenched their craving for thai food !
We had two of our chef colleagues /foodies sitting with us & they too enjoyed the food very much
I've been ordering from you guys on uber eats & I think I'm addicted. The menu & flavors bring me back to Thailand & I love it. Thanks for the delicious food!
One of the best Tom Yum soups we've ever had. We got the seafood & everything was fresh & the seafood done to perfection.

Video Review will be posted on Tik Tok & Instagram soon @Foxyappetite In Depth Review: Mia Cuisine Thai is one of those hidden gems in Montreal that promises a delightful fusion of authentic Thai flavors with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this spot was about more than just serving food; it was about creating a relaxing experience that felt both traditional & fresh. I had the chance to indulge in a few standout dishes, & I left feeling thoroughly impressed. Vegetarian Spring Rolls (Made from Scratch In-House) These spring rolls were the highlight of my meal. The freshness of the ingredients was undeniable, & it's clear they're made with care. The wrapper was perfectly crispy, not overly greasy, & had a beautiful golden hue. The filling was a flavorful medley of finely chopped vegetables that were still vibrant & crunchy, offering a satisfying contrast to the crunchy exterior. Paired with the dipping sauce, these spring rolls became a true standout in my meal. They're not just an appetizer; they're a must-try. I can easily see why these are a fan favorite. Thai Hot Wings These wings were soo delicious, as the menu promised. Served piping hot & juicy, they had just the right balance of heat & flavor. The crispy skin was perfectly seasoned, giving the wings a satisfying crunch without being overly oily. The meat was tender & juicy inside, & the spicy sauce was the perfect level of heat-enough to get your taste buds tingling without being overwhelming. They were a true comfort food indulgence, & the portion size was generous too. If you're a fan of wings, these should not be missed. Crispy Pork Thai Basil Stir-Fry The crispy pork Thai basil stir-fry was another highlight, offering a savory, aromatic experience. The pork was cooked to perfection-crispy on the outside but still tender & juicy on the inside. The basil added a fragrant, herbaceous kick to the dish, complemented by the perfectly balanced mix of spices. The stir-fry had just the right amount of heat & sweetness, with a touch of savory umami that tied everything together. The portion was substantial & well-rounded, making for a satisfying main course. I loved how the dish showcased the bold flavors of Thai cuisine without being overwhelming. Thai Iced Tea To wash it all down, I opted for the Thai iced tea, which was wonderfully refreshing. The tea had the perfect balance of sweetness & creaminess, with a strong, robust flavor that wasn't too sugary. Served over ice with a generous splash of milk, it was the ideal accompaniment to the spicier dishes, helping to cool the palate & add a touch of indulgence to the meal. Ambiance & Service The vibe at Mia Cuisine Thai is casual yet inviting, with warm lighting & a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly & attentive, taking the time to answer questions about the menu & make sure everything was to my liking. The pace of the meal was well-timed, & it felt like they truly cared about each guest's experience. I also enjoyed the background music, which featured laid-back covers & popular pop songs, adding a relaxed vibe to the atmosphere.
I'm Thai, & let me tell you, this place is even better than Thailand! The flavors are absolutely authentic, & the crispy pork is out of this world-perfectly cooked, juicy, & with that unbeatable crunch. It's like a little slice of home but elevated to perfection. Every dish tastes like it's made with love. If you're looking for real Thai food that truly delivers, this is the spot! ❤️❤️❤️
We were in town from Ottawa for the day & decided to try out Mia Thai Cuisine. It did not disappoint. I ordered the pad Thai, with tofu & no egg & my husband ordered the crispy pork dish. The ingredients were so fresh & the portions were big. The food was so flavorful, we did not leave any leftovers. We each also received a Thai iced tea on the house which was delicious. The service was quick & the staff very friendly. We would definitely recommend this place & will return to eat here if we are back in the city. Thank you!
This the best thai restaurant in town!!! The food is super authentic & each bite is an explosion of flavor ! Will definitely come back with my whole family !!! I forgot to take pictures of all the food we had, I couldn't let go of my chopsticks since the first bite.
