It's such a beautiful restaurant! I just went there for the Happening Gourmand with their 59$ 3 services menu. Everything was amazingly good & they have a really good cocktails for the occasion! I devoured all! My highlight was the 45 days aged steak, just wow! It melted in my mouth!View more

Great place to have dinner & drinks. Staff was super friendly, they really care about the customer experience, there was a little confusion with out order but they corrected it so promptly & ensured we were happy with our service at all times. I tried the salmon grilled fillet & was so good. Cocktails are algo very good & the view to old Montreal plaza is very very nice. Worth it 100%!!View more

Dining at this restaurant is always a pleasure. I selected this place to introduce my friends to one of Montreal's hidden gems, & once again, it exceeded all expectations. Despite the heavy rain outside, the staff remained kind, attentive, & welcoming throughout our visit. We started our evening with cocktails & wine in the central lounge, which offered a cozy, intimate setting. Although we arrived without a reservation, one of the managers accommodated us, providing a table in a particularly special spot near the vertical garden. The seating was comfortable, & the lighting was just right, enhancing the overall ambiance. Our waitress was friendly & attentive from the moment we sat down. The restaurant's atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between modern & elegant, making it suitable for any occasion. The music played at a perfect volume, allowing for easy conversation. As always, the food was outstanding. Every dish was crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, & the variety of desserts was the perfect conclusion to our meal. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above & beyond to ensure we had an exceptional experience. I will definitely be returning & highly recommend the Steak Bavette, Salmon Tartare, the tropical cocktail, & of course, the desserts.View more

Resto incroyable! L'équipe était aux petits soins avec nous & que dire de la nourriture. WOW!!! LE meilleur steak que j'ai mangé de ma vie. La purée de pommes de terre aux truffes était tellement bonne que j'en aurais mangé un chaudron entier. Les cocktails étaient bons mais un peu trop fort en alcool à mon goût. Server was very nice & helpful with the menu. We got Caesar salad & shrimp cocktail as appetizer. Then the Steak Bavette for dinner which was really good along with seasonal veggies & fries. A short walk from our hotel, we chose Maggie Oates because another review mentioned it had a kids menu. Turns out that was limited but it had the essential - chicken tenders & French fries. The salmon was excellent as well as the shrimp cocktail. The service was outstanding.View more

A couple of weeks ago a girlfriend & I went to eat at Maggie Oakes for dinner. We started our night at the lobby bar where Camillo made us delicious cocktails. We then we're escorted to our table where we had huge oysters & spicy margaritas. Our server Geoffroy was very friendly & knowledgeable. He recommeded the beef tartare & nougat as starters which were bothe delicious. For our mains we shared the aged rib steak & got a flawless bottle of wine that was recommended by sommelier Mr. Hy. Overall warm & friendly staff & great food. A must in the old port ! Highly recommend.View more
