We came here for brunch, but it took about 30 minutes just to receive our drinks & over an hour for our food. The service felt slow & inattentive, & the food itself was just okay. Overall, we expected better quality from this restaurant.

Aujourd'hui, nous avons attendu 50 min pour café & thé, & encore parce que j'ai interpellé quelqu'un pour dire que c'était très long.
Une fois les cafés reçus nous avons patienté un autre 30 min pour les pancakes.
Deux managers (je pense) étaient présents, regardaient autour d'eux & ne semblaient pas voir le problème car ne sont jamais intervenus auprès d'une table (la table à côté de nous, & derrière nous de plaignaient aussi..)
Ah si, la dame est intervenue uniquement auprès d'influenceurs qui étaient présents.
I stayed at Hotel William Gray & ate at this establishment for almost every meal. The staff were welcoming & the food satisfying. Shout out to Pascal! My friend & I were always happy to receive his service.
This is a delightful spot. The fresh warm bread & butter was a highlight, & our server made excellent recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried & still talk about how wonderful our meal was. Thank you Jeremy!!

Really supportive of our vegan / dietary needs. Focaccia & Avo on Toast were amazing, the fries were great, & service attentive without hovering. Can't recommend enough.
Their French onion soup is absolutely spectacular, rich, flavorful, & comforting. They made this version with beer.
The lunch menu is very well thought out, starting at around $28 CAD per person. You can choose a main & a dessert, or a main & an appetizer, & there are small extras for certain upgrades. For example, selecting the onion soup comes with a $4 CAD extra.
Portions are larger than I expected. I also tried the stuffed pasta, which was really tasty & cooked perfectly.

Just had a lovely dinner at Maggie Oakes. Pascal, Emil, & the gentleman who welcomed us were professional & attentive. The food was delicious (Maggie's cheeseburger & sesame crusted salmon, salad & dessert), & the service from all members of the team was excellent. Would definitely go again when in the area.
Very expensive for what you get & the food was only ok at best. Not at all worth the premium prices, much better options available nearby. The atmosphere was good, not too loud & comfortable environment.
