Food was wood quality & well presented although the scrambled eggs were overcooked for my liking. Coffee was good but could be much better, service was slow but that fitted with the chilled vibe of the place. Staff were friendly & helpful. Overall a very good place to have breakfast & watch the world go by.
Coffee very weak. 2 shots of espresso very weak. The staff really try so can't complain. Service for breakfast very slow. Suggest you grab a good coffee somewhere else first then mosey on over for a leisurely wait.
I dine regularly in Montreal & almost never left a review but felt compeled to this time. To put it simply, save yourself the time & money.
The brunch menu lacks variety & is simply not worth the price they charge for what is considered a very standard breakfast plate(s). Additionally, the the pastries they served we small & burnt (specifically the almond croissant). It was not the only burnt food at the table, the waffle I had was quite dry & lacked flavor, & the bacon I received seemed to have been forgotten on the fire as it was black in my plate.
Additionally, the service was lacking. Coffee took over 20 min to come to the table after ordering, despite the place not being very busy, & we could not get a server to bring us salt & pepper. To the point where one of the members at my table got up & took shakers himself so we could eat our eggs.
Based on what I observed I cannot fathom how this restaurant has managed to survive in Montreal when there are so many better alternatives around (such as Jardin Nelson); my only explanation is it lives off of hype & is very'instagram-able'. If you care to actually eat & sample diverse food at a reasonable price, please choose a different restaurant.
Lovely food.we had breakfast once & brunch once.v nice staff.good location
Went for breakfast & had avacado toast on gluten free bread & two poached eggs. Could not have potatoes as they are not gluten free/celiac safe so they gave me salad instead.
Was looking for a breakfast spot with a more traditional breakfast & found it here! Food was amazing. Excellent pricing for the amount of food we had. Great experience.
Stunning. Breakfast was delicious (smoked salmon eggs Benedict) - nice little twist came with spinach & tomatoes. Staff friendly & helpful. Great location.
The tea came with a little Madeline. Nice touch.
Great spot for coffee & big breakfast. Not cheap but worth the price for what you get.
This place is a 10/10 for breakfast. We also ordered room service & got the salmon tartare & Cesare salad for lunch too & it was incredible. Laurianne was amazing for brunch- request her!
