thai(131) soup(55) noodle(42) pad thai(32) chicken(32) rice(26) recommend(19) authentic(18) tea(18) yum(18) beef(15) dishes(13)Atmosphere was ok. I don't love a QR code menu as it can be finicky - it wouldn't load properly so you could see some pages of the menu but not others. We didn't need to make a reservation & were seated upon arrival. Service was straightforward. The employees were kind & helpful. The food came out pretty quickly. The pad see ew was very black peppery in aroma right off the bat. Upon tasting, it was too sweet, which was disappointing. The other dishes at my table looked & smelled better soit could be that it's just a matter of preference / off day.
Unacceptable value for money. $15 for 4 spring rolls filled with nothing but vermicelli is a total rip-off. The portions are tiny & look nothing like the photos on the menu. It's way too expensive for what it is. Very disappointing for a Thai restaurant.

Rapport qualité-prix inadmissible.
No service at all, we need to go to the counter to order & to pay, long time to wait for the dishes, which are not as good as I expected, quite expensive, I should have made myself an instant noodle at home
The food itself was good but not sure this is an authentic Thai place. It has very few of the classic authentic dishes you can find everywhere in Thailand. Along with meager meat portions which lowkey feel rationed.
Ouff ! Tom yum prit dispendieux pour la quantité , pad thaï le poulet goûtait comme s'il avait été cuit dans l'eau & après mis par dessus c'était vrm horrible
Loved the broth & my Baa Mee Moo soup ! Delicious ! & the service was awesome !!!! 🤩 will definitely come back
The food is really good but the portions are quite small for the cost (smaller than an average restaurant, definitely smaller than an average asian restaurant). You have to pay & tip before getting served. The waitress brought her personal phone with a screenshot of a QR code for us to scan to access the menu, which was weird. My friend got served the wrong meal & instead of leaving it to her as an apology (the portions are so small, it was practically an entree) they took the half eaten plate away (to be thrown in the garbage i guess) & made her wait 30min longer for the correct meal.
My thai friend said it was true thai food compared to other places, so if you are craving that style of cooking & don't mind the small portions, this is the spot. Otherwise I think the guest treatment was a little too whack for me.
We were 3 people at our table each meal was served 15 mins apart.
I ordered the green curry chicken.
It was my mistake, 3 pieces of boiled chicken with skin & steamed rice.. To be fair, my friends enjoyed their meals, pad Thai & braised beef & noodles.
This place seems very popular so many must enjoy it.
I have been here several times but it appears that Mae Sri Comptoir is the latest example of shrinkflation as the portion size when I last went was shockingly small. All three diners in my group left the restaurant hungry & went to get food elsewhere despite the bill having been $100+.
Casual dining. Order & pay at the till. Grab a seat. We had beef soup, pad thai. All taste great & flavorful. Portions are good, but can't say generous. Would visit again to try other menu items.
really enjoyed the pad thai, green curry, & thai iced coffee :)
The food was not as amazing as I thought. It was still different from what I had in Thailand. It was quite good, but a little expensive.
Pretty decent Thai :) the restaurant menus need a bit of updating though, can hardly see the writing
Bonne cuisine mais l'équipe est bien sous-dimensionnée. Les serveurs courent dans tous les sens, il faut même commander au comptoir. Nous avons attendu 1h pour être servis
Bel endroit & service sympatique.
Changing my review as the service quality is inconsistent despite the food being decent. Visited before a show yesterday, waited for a while after ordering, when the food is up they said the hainan chicken i ordered is out, it took them too long to inform me about it. I ordered green curry as they recommend changing into something with the same price, & chose rice instead of vermicelli. But when the dish came, it was with vermicelli. Also, different from last visit, the Thai milk tea is full of ice & got so diluted. Lastly, since they only accept payment ahead, we can't really reflect this in tipping. Very disappointing service.
The best thai restaurant in Montreal! Im absolutely blown away by the flavour & thé authenticity of the dishes. I got the pad thai & dry noodles. Phenomenal. Highly recommend the thai green tea milk tea, refreshing! Nothing bad to say!
This is the best Thai food we have had in a long time. We had the spring rolls , Pad Thai & the Sukhothai (soup) . My soup was so tasty. There were so many levels of flavour. I was truly impressed. The place itself is really cute. Nice decor & atmosphere. Wish we lived close by because this would be my go to for Thai!
