Madame Poulet earns high marks for crispy, juicy fried chicken, bold sauces, and generous portions that pair well with waffle fries, macaroni and cheese, and poutine, with many noting the food is fresh and not overly greasy and several standout dishes like the chicken tenders and the buffalo poutine. Service is repeatedly praised as friendly, attentive, and welcoming, with staff offering helpful guidance, checking in, and sometimes going the extra mile to make guests feel at home, including language accommodations and thoughtful touches like free brownies. The dining space is described as clean, bright, and comfortable, family friendly with features such as a playroom and private room with a TV, and hours that suit casual meals or gatherings. A few comments mention occasional slowdowns during peak times or occasional order issues, but these critiques are far outweighed by the consistent positive experiences and the strong desire to return to try more menu items. Overall Madame Poulet is viewed as a reliable go to for flavorful chicken and dependable service, appealing to locals and visitors alike who value quality, value, and a welcoming atmosphere.
I'm a big fan of fried chicken burgers & will almost always order them & the burger here was actually really good. The employees are also so nice, & the restaurant itself is really nice but the food is definitely the highlight
This fried chicken location is new to the West Island (open about two weeks ago) & newest Madam Poulet restaurant. Their variety of fried chicken sandwiches is said to be their signature dish according to their loyal followers.
So that is the meal I decided to try out. The sandwich itself had a very sizeable, crunchy, crispy crust. The sandwich was juicy & tasty. I wish they would add a little bit more condiments but in general, it was a very good sandwich. In addition, the waffles fries were crispy as well.
The restaurant had very good & friendly service. Decor is modern & extremely clean. Bright lights & high ceilings create a nice open feel though I believe it's mainly to dissipate the fried odour from the cooking.
Prices are reasonable & they have table service after you order at the counter. There's even two self ordering stations beside the counter but they weren't operational when I visited. Seating is about 50. Plenty of parking. Would recommend for chicken sandwich enthusiasts in the West Island.
Update: Returned to MP for lunch & had the MP Chou burger & it was still delicious.
Milena served us & she was polite & friendly!
Still recommend for a nice chicken sandwich!

Tried this fried chicken sandwich spot recently & overall had a good experience. There was no wait, the service was quick, & the place was easy to get in & out of. The meal came out to about $25, which felt reasonable for the quality & portion.
The food was really tasty overall, & my friend's fried chicken sandwich looked great & was apparently excellent. My sandwich was good too, but the chicken piece had a bit too much breading & not enough actual chicken, which threw off the balance. Still flavorful, just could have used a thicker piece of chicken.
Overall, a solid fried chicken sandwich spot - good value, quick service, & tasty food. I'd definitely go back & give it another try.
Everything about this place is amazing! Stephanie was top notch as she helped us to choose what to order! The place is so clean! & the fried chicken is the best you can have in Canada! Thank you!
The best fried chicken I've ever had. Stéphanie was amazing, always smiling & helping us choose what to order. Absolutely worth the trip from downtown Montreal to the West Island!
Food was super good & not greasy which is hard for restaurants making fried food nowadays! Flavour was on point & our server Marie was super sweet & helpful. Will be back!
So actually this place is getting a zero stars from me & I came from a lavel to come & try this place because the one in Laval had bad reviews. I ordered the tomachulk. I'm not posting any pictures of the food but the chicken was not cooked at all. The sad thing is that they try to tell me it was the seasoning in the chicken. Very disappointed with this place actually right now was looking forward to it. My guess is we can't really buy chicken fried chicken in particular from any restaurants anymo

Amazing experience!! Trust me when I say this is THE BEST fried chicken & the most quality one I have ever tried in the city. I will definitely be coming back very soon!!
We tried Madame Poulet & we think it's the best fried chicken in the West Island. & Stephanie was our waitress, she was amazing
Thank you. 🙂 we will see you soon.
What makes any place special is its people & Mohamad makes this place special with his warm welcome & smile & excellent service a la clientele. Clean quality Halal fried chicken that you will enjoy. The portions are generous & the MP sauce is great! Happy to have given this place a chance.
First time here & we will come back here when there is a chance (not close to where we stay). The receptionist was very kind, friendly & helpful. We could feel her passion to serve customers good food. Though order process was a little slow, everything was great.
We enjoyed the food. The food was nicely made. The tenders were juicy yet perfectly fried. There were only 2-3 groups of people in the restaurant when we were there. The restaurant is huge, bright & clean. It was comfortable to sit down & enjoy our food.
Additional point, there were lots of free parking!
