Tim & his team were amazing. We had messed up on our reservations, but they registered us as if we were old friends. The rooms were great, the decor classic, the breakfast was customized for us. Our bicycles were stored & locked downstairs. But mainly it was Tim's welcome & care which made our stay so nice. Tim's reputation for his hotel & restaurant are so well established & so high that you better reserve early.

Excellently located, great staff & food, with charming rooms for overnight stays. The complimentary breakfast is fantastic as well.

Thought this can't be true, but it was: located directly at the bike trail, with a terrace looking out on the water, offering great food & local beers for a fair price. I took the chance to sleep there & met nice fellow travelers, the treat team & slept with an open window listening to the passing water thanks to the mosquito nets. Leaving energized & planing to come back - even though it is quite the travel from Berlin ;)

Nous avons souper au restaurant MacTaverne. Le lieu est magnifique en terrasse, la nourriture est délicieuse & le personnel très accueillant. Ce restaurant vaut définitivement le détour si vous allez à Val-David.

We had a fantastic experience at MacTaverne & are genuinely grateful for the level of care we received from Tim & the team.

The atmosphere was warm & easy, & the food was excellent. Everything came out just right & made for a really enjoyable meal shared with family. Our mother was especially well looked after, which meant a great deal to us.

Thank you Tim & team for the lovely evening.
