Bonne adresse dans le coin, endroit chaleureux, n'hésitez pas y aller pour le dîner ou le souper. Très bon service malgré quatre enfants en dessous de 4 ans.
Nous avons aimé tous nos plats. Le fish & chip & la tourte au poulet étaient très réussi. Le burger bien, mais il lui manque un petit quelque chose. Le scotch egg était un des meilleurs que j'ai goûté au Québec.

Le service est excellent. L'ambiance & le décor sont agréable. Mon plat (fish & chips) excellent & les burgers sont généreux. Un excellent choix d'alcool & bière. Cependant le menu est très limité dans les choix.
Une superbe découverte. Auberge très bien rénovée avec un accueil des plus sympathiques, des chambres très confortables, un petit déjeuner compris & le tout pour 107$ plus taxes, c'est de loin le meilleur qualité prix que nous avons rencontré dans les Laurentides. & pour finir ils ont un pub ou l'on a mangé un succulent cheese burger & une non moins succulente tourte au poulet. Ne cherchez plus c'est LA place à Val David.
We came looking for the old brewery that used to be here - initially a little disappointed it had closed but oh my gosh MacTaverne Pub is just SO AMAZING.
We conservatively ordered a few apps to share & ended up making 3 more food orders over the course of the afternoon. The scotch eggs are to die for. The frites plus incredible. Every dish we had was amazing. The chef even cooked us a plain burger patty for our dog after a long day of hiking where we forgot her food.
The staff were equally as amazing - friendly, helpful & inviting. We will definitely be back.

L'accueil a été chaleureux du début à la fin. Nous avons pu manger dehors sans aucun problème : la jeune femme qui s'est occupée de nous (désolée, je n'ai pas eu son prénom !) a été adorable. Elle nous a proposé des couvertures & allumé de petits feux pour que nous & les autres clients profitions de la terrasse bien au chaud.
L'endroit est magique : la vue sur la petite rivière, les couleurs flamboyantes de l'automne dans les arbres… un moment à la fois apaisant & unique, exactement le genre d'expérience que nous cherchions en venant ici.
Côté nourriture, un vrai coup de coeur. J'ai pris un cocktail (le Radler) & mon conjoint une bière, tous deux conseillés avec le sourire par notre serveuse. Le cocktail était délicieux ! Nous avons commencé avec des croustilles & trempette, ainsi qu'un scotch egg : INCROYABLES. La trempette était savoureuse, & le scotch egg à tomber. Ensuite, un burger végétarien pour moi & un cheeseburger pour mon conjoint : je n'ai jamais mangé de galette végétarienne aussi bonne, au point d'avoir envie d'en commander pour la maison ! Honnêtement, c'était probablement le meilleur burger que j'ai mangé, tous restaurants confondus.
En résumé : un lieu accueillant, chaleureux & convivial, une équipe adorable & une cuisine exceptionnelle. Une expérience parfaite du début à la fin. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçus !

Went for a hike in Val David with friends & stopped by for lunch. Sat on the terrace & Tim & his team were amazing. The fresh locally sourced salads & the Burgers were perfectly made & so tasty. Service was impeccable. We topped it off with a peach cobbler. What a way to top off a hike. Highly recommend you stop in & get some of Tim's food & hospitality.
Excellent service. Burger & fish & chips trop bons!! On va revenir souvent. Nouvel endroit préféré à Val-David. Accueille chaleureux. Ambiance familiale mais aussi parfait pour souper/diner entre amis avec bonnes bières & cocktails. Les chambres trop jolies & propres. Déjeuner compris. Parfait.
Super repas produit frais & très bien préparé. Fish & ships excellent ( poisson pas trop cuit & croustillant) ainsi que les frites. Super burger également. Je recommande fortement.
This place is absolutely amazing ! We were seven people & the service was quick & efficient! The employees were so kind & Do not get me started on the amazing burgers & drinks !

THE BEST FOOD I HAD IN MY 35 YEARS OF LIFE & I'm not exaggerating at all. I had the burger & the wings. It's the juiciest, fatest burger I'm ever eaten with a delicious brioche bun. The wings good lord!!! So delicately flavorful & perfectly breaded.
I intend to come back & try every single thing in there menu. Oh & I was there with my 1 year old. They are super kid friendly. There staff is sooo nice & friendly.
I spoke with the owner to let him know how exceptional the food was & he was so humble.
It's sad that there's a maximum of 5 stars because it's literally the best food I've ever had. It's 10/5 stars for me.

Gens sympathiques avec des valeurs familiales rare dans ce monde individualiste & virtuel… longue vie à votre entreprise, votre burger T-bone était excellent!
10/10. We tried the linguine, the burger, & the fish & chips over opening weekend & all were amazing. Fish & chips was super fresh & not too heavy. Awesome service & beautiful views from the patio. We will be back!
