Endroit chaleureux, presque familial & le service est vraiment impeccable. Le menu change au fil des saisons & la qualité des plats est excellente. Bel ambiance, feu de bois l'hiver & une belle terrasse l'été. Allez y faire votre tour, vous ne le regretterez pas !
Probably the best food we've had in the laurentians. Tim & his family know hospitality. Creamy pint of Guinness & one of the best steaks I've had in a while. Will be back.

We first visited for a Guinness & were met with such friendly service. The waiter mentioned it was the best food in town, so we had to come back, & we're so glad we did. The fish & chips, chicken & leek pie, & sticky toffee pudding were all amazing. You can really tell everything is homemade. The wine was also excellent, & the service was great & friendly throughout. Highly recommend this place!
We had a fantastic stay at MacTaverne! The staff were lovely, the breakfast was delicious & great location for cross country skiing, definitely recommend!

Nous sommes allés manger hier soir pour la première fois au Mac Taverne Pub & nous avons été comblés du début à la fin. Assis juste à côté du foyer, l'ambiance était parfaite. On peut s'entendre parler malgré l'endroit bondé de gens. Situé à proximité de la rivière du Nord à Val-David, l'emplacement ne peut pas être meilleure. Pour ce qui est du menu... WOW! Petit, mais maîtrisé à merveille. Ce qui à mon avis, est beaucoup mieux qu'un menu avec trop de choix où l'on peut se perdre. Nous avons pris les ailes de poulet & le Scotch egg en entrée & Fish & Chip & Cheeseburger en plat principal & pour la finale, le Sticky toffee pudding à l'érable. 😋 Pour ce qui est du menu alcool, y'en a pour tous les goûts (bières, vins & cocktails) & que dire du service, des gens passionnés à l'écoute des clients & prêt à vous conseiller sur les choix du menu. Bref, une soirée parfaite! Nous y retournerons certainement.

Ensconced in a cozy room after a winter ski & drinks in a lively restaurant with a fire in the corner. Come for the restaurant by all means but the stay over will give you a chance to enjoy the honest hospitality of the owners & staff. Plus you get to visit one of the coolest villages in the laurentides.

We stopped in to watch a playoff football game on the way home from skiing Tremblant & could not have enjoyed our drinks & dinner more. Very hospitable, warm energy, & chill vibes. Worth a visit!
Tellement heureuse d'avoir un pub de cette qualité dans la région. Menu avec des recettes classiques mais de qualité, service A1, ambiance parfaite que ce soit pour souper entre amis, prendre un verre un tête à tête ou même lire un livre avec une pinte au bar. Un de nos nouveaux endroits chouchous.
Séjour parfait! On y retournera pour l'ambiance décontractée, la gentillesse des hôtes, sans oublier les meilleurs fish'n chips (pour vrai). La prochaine fois avec les skis ou le vélo, selon la saison.
On a tellement aimé l'endroit qu'on y a sejourné à 3 reprises cet hiver & on déjà hâte d'y revenir !!!
La situation est idéale, tout se fait à pied ou en ski de fond.
Auberge avec accueil chaleureux, chambres très propres & confortables avec en prime un bon petit déjeuner chaud. & que dire du magnifique restaurant directement dans l'auberge qui offre un service & une nourriture impeccables. Tout ce qu'on a goûté était absolument parfait.
