Ich war als Radfahrer auf dem P'Tit train du nord unterwegs und habe 3 Nächte in der MacTaverne übernachtet. Die Atmosphäre war sehr familiär und angenehm. Beim Frühstück stehen 3 leckere Gerichte zur Auswahl und auch abends kann man hier sehr gut essen.
Der ganze Aufenthalt hier hat mir extrem gut gefallen. Nocheinmal ein großes Dankeschön an das Personal!

Wer die Zeit hat, dem empfehle ich eine Wanderung durch den Park Val-David in der Nähe.

Drove in from Ottawa to try this new restaurant & it did not disappoint! The food, drinks, service & overall vibe were exceptional. Best fish & chips we've ever had! Highly recommend making the trip to Val David to check it out

MacTaverne was the perfect discovery on our recent trip to Val-David from Ottawa. After a day on the trails, its cozy, rustic atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, but the food & drinks truly elevated the experience. We were immediately impressed by their creative cocktails, which were a clear cut above standard pub offerings. While their Fish & Chips were perfectly crispy & delicious, the absolute showstopper was a surprisingly brilliant linguine. Finding a pasta dish so vibrant & perfectly executed was a delightful surprise that proved this kitchen has serious range. Friendly service & a great vibe make MacTaverne a must-visit spot in the Laurentians, & it has become an instant favourite for us.

Our large group had lunch here after visiting 1001 Pots. The setting next to the babbling river is beautiful. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. The food was excellent & served promptly. Great place for a meal in Val David.

J'ai été mangé sur la terrasse du pub avec ma conjointe & notre calme bouvier bernois. Je n'ai pas le choix de dire que c'est un secret bien gardé de Val-David. Accueil, service, vins importation privé, bières super froide, nourriture excellente, choix & niveau de la musique juste assez pour que ce soit audible. Il semble même il y avoir une borne de recharge pour votre véhicule électrique. Emplacement avec vue sur les rapides. Vraiment je n'aurais pas pu rêver de mieux pour cet après-midi ensoleillé. On va revenir c'est sûr!

Absolutely sublime meal tonight at the recently opened MacTaverne! The staff were extremely kind, helpful & welcoming, the food was delicious & the portions were generous. My partner & I truly had a fantastic experience & can't wait to be back during our next trip to Val-David!
