Pistachio pasta had no flavour & felt like it was missing sauce. Chicken estragon was slightly better but both lacked seasoning & were mushy. Nothing close to being aldente & tasted like overcooked Hamburger Helper. I am really disappointed with the quality of the food. On a positive note the staff are very attentive, knowledgeable & smiling. The food came out quickly as well. I really hope this was an off day & that things get better.
The food was amazing. It was my first time eating out here as I am from Toronto. I loved the flavour & the ingredients they have used. I I had the tarragon chicken. It was delicious. Would definitely drive back for this!
I've been twice in the last month. Loved the chicken Tuscany. The second time I decided to try the taco with some spice! Enjoyed both. So I'll either explore the cheese burger next time or have the chicken Tuscany again lol
We ordered the truffle cream pasta with grilled chicken added, & it was absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly, & the place was beautiful. I definitely want to come back!

I tried the Tuscan chicken which was quite good. The pasta was cooked perfectly & the wait time was short!
First time at Lulu's, so we were not sure how it works. The girl at the counter was so patient & so helpful. We had our pasta after 10 minutes. Be careful. It's really hot (not spicy but heat). I had the chicken Chipotle, & it was delicious. All the staff were so friendly. Can't wait to come back & try other sauce flavors.
Okay I definitely get the hype. That truffle mushroom with extra chicken, wow so good. & for 25 bucks it's practically 2 servings. Would recommend!!

The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing, though it can get a bit crowded during peak hours. The pricing is reasonable, & the portion sizes & quality make it 100% worth it!

Great pasta spot. The hype adds up. It's a great place to take out. I like to have pasta in a real dish, even when you eat in you get the cup. This is the Chicken Estragon
First time we ve visited this place. Had lunch. Pasta with chicken strips times 2 & a bottle of water $50 So a bit on the expensive side. Very nice person at the cash, took her time & explained everything. Food is served very hot & is very tasty. Only complaint would be that the music is super loud for my taste & the place is freezing. We had to keep our coats on like most everyone else. They need a second door bc every time it opens, a major gust of cold comes in. Girl told me that they had a door but it was broken. Hurry up & fix that pls. Also I asked for extra parmesan which was charged extra but as they served us the waitress offered free parmesan to top it off. So, I think the cashier could have told me not to bother paying for it Large portion for us. We asked for a cover & bag & brought it home. I do recommend this resto
Fantastic & reasonable pasta dishes, lots of fresh Parm, the pistachio cream pasta is fantastic & great for kids -- one of the best salads I've ever had, grilled chicken, finely chopped greens, & also great Parm. All pasta is made in-house, in full display.
Small pasta place popular for the practical serving in a cup (even when eat-in). Pasta is thick & a bit hard, the sauce & chicken is good. Lots of people to serve but service is actually not great. It's chaotic at dinner time & no space to walk/stand. You'd be lucky to get a table because it's first come first serve (they don't manage the seating even if you order to dine in). If you order soft drink, remember to take it yourself because they don't pack it in the bag & you'd only realize that once at home.
Yes yes YES! :) Many times I passed from this restaurant but never stepped in, today when I was coming from work I was super hungry as didn't have my lunch neither & decided to give it a try! I should say that it was away better than I thought. My pasta arrived super hot , she asked if I like more parmesan & parsley.. & until I was eating it stayed super warm & nice. I have chosen to create my own pasta & tried the chewy pasta , chicken for protein & pesto for the sauce. Super yummy, & the big difference is they make fresh pasta , highly recommended.
Been wanting to try pasta in a cup & it did not disappoint. Pasta is cooked al dante. Service was amazing. Super friendly staff. I had mushroom truffle pasta. It was creamy good. Could be a tad saltier... I added some salt. My son had the chicken toscan & it was packed with flavor 👌 It feels a little pricey but the portion is very generous. I highly recommend it.
Great experience stopping in at Lulu's Pasta Bar. Good energy & smiles on the staff & customers looking very happy with their pastas. The place is very clean, service is quick, especially considering it was busy & each pasta is made fresh to order. They are making the fresh pasta right at the front when you walk in. Had the mushroom truffle with rigatoni which was absolutely delicious, & the recommended Tuscan chicken with rigatoni which was also very good & tasty. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente which is so rare with these types of places, reminded of Italy. The portions are a really nice size, & come piping hot. Can't wait to return to try the bolognese which it seemed a lot of people were eating & the pistachio pesto which sounded good; too many choices! There's about 8 tables inside & a terrasse in front, so gotta be lucky if you plan to eat on site. Many people were taking theirs to go.
We finally got enjoy some creamy, delicious pasta in a cup. The freshly made semolina flour pasta, served in a 250g portion that seems smaller in pictures than it is (we weren't able to finish 3/4 of it), boasts 30g of protein & a list of vitamins & minerals not typically found in pasta served in North America. We tried two items from the "créations de Lulu" part of the menu, & you'd definitely be delulu if you didn't love them. Obviously, we had to get the Creamy Cheeseburger, & we also tried the Creamy Chicken Chipotle. Both were satisfying, luscious, & delectable. We love the concept of a pasta bar, & we're not alone because the place was full to the brim with people trying to get their pasta fix at the giant cup-shaped counter (which we also loved). They also serve desserts that include lemon cake (which we tried, & it was great), Nutella cornetto or cannoli, & some alcoholic drinks. If you, like us, have been noticing a lot of hype since they opened & are wondering if it's justified, the answer is yes. The hype is real, & we will be back (with more people) to try more of their menu.
First time trying Lulu's & the hype is real! The pasta is fresh & tasty. The portions are great, you can have some now & some for later. It is filling but doesn't make you feel groggy. The customer service is also amazing. After you order they bring your order to you & top your pasta w cheese & parsley. I also love that you can see the fresh pasta being cut in the window of the store. I also met the owner & she explained a bit about the process & the ingredients used for the pasta . The pasta is high in protein so it's great. I cannot wait to go back & try new flavors. For reference I got the creamy pesto w chicken & the other one is the creamy taco! PS the lemon cake is also very good!
They need to be more generous with the protein. They ration of chicken to pasta is about 1 to 10. You mostly end up paying for a big plain pasta dish 🙄
C'est rare où je prends le temps de post des avis, mais il en fallait un pour Lulu's pasta bar. Que ce soit la qualité des pâtes, la delicieuse sauce, la quantité offerte ou encore le bon service, ca en a valu le coup! & -10% pour les étudiants, merci! Pour ma part ce fut un Tuscan Chicken.
