Located in Montreal's west end, Lucille's Oyster Dive has been serving up oysters and seafood classics since 2009.
The goal is to provide patrons with the best selection of both east and west coast oysters. According to seasonal availability, the oyster selection changes daily. While the classics include lobster rolls and fish & chips, the Lucille's kitchen changes it up with seafood dishes that keep our patrons coming back.
Whether you're looking for a quick bite at the bar, or an evening with friends, the staff has a reputation of making it all seem like home.
While the menu changes seasonally, the Lucille's 1855 Butcher's Cut are a year round staple. The in-house, dry aged and charcoal grilled steaks have made this Dive a destination for beef enthusiasts.

Until last month, Lucille's was one of my favorite restaurants which I went to 3-5 times per month. I love the food & the service is decent. Last time I was there the service was horrible. We never saw the server & we were looked after by the busboy. Appetizers were forgotten, ketchup was forgotten, drinks were forgotten, even though asked for several times,& our dirty dishes stayed on the table for the 55minutes between appetizers & main course are a few examples. When the bill came, I decided to TIP approximately the same amount of the taxes. It was still about 15%. To my shock, when the manger came over, it wasn't to apologize for the bad experience but instead to tell me I didn't give a good TIP & I'm the future they don't have to give me a reservation! I was shocked by rudeness, which was compounded by the fact that she told me she wasn't rude because she spoke to me in private. Not sure she even understands what rude means! She also told me it's not the first time I gave a "bad" tip, she even took the time to calculate that it was 14.79% & not even 15%. I agreed that once before, when she herself served me & gave me terrible service, that I also tipped poorly. Time for servers to remember tips are for "Too Insure Proper Service!" & if they want a good tip, they need to provided good service. Also time to remind them that we don't tip on Taxes. The entitlement of this women was crazy. Give bad service & instead of apologizing, threaten me! It's ok, Montreal has plenty of restaurants so Lucille's does not have to be my go to place anymore. Once again, I will give the kitchen a shout out, as the food is very good. To add insult to injury, when I complained to management, they didn't address any of my concerns & suggested I take my business elsewhere! A decision I had already made. Bottom line, avoid at all cost!!!
A bit pricey for what you get.The calamari were very good but you don,t get very much for the price. The fish & chips which were supposed to be I assume a speciality seeing it was called lucille,s fish & chips but it was more batter than anything else.I don,t know what home cut fries mean but they were nothing special. The tacos were the best thing we ordered.
Usually, I understand that sometimes restaurants may not always offer what the customer was expecting.
However, today I felt the need to write to you, because I am very disappointed with the order I received today, & frankly, feel that I was purposefully misled.
I have seen Lucille's food truck, & it seemed really popular. I rarely eat out (on average, once every 2-3 months). So today, being in the area, I decided to try out the food truck.
I asked the saleslady what I should get, seeing how I am not a big fan of seafood, & she recommended the cheeseburger & fries, saying that she herself really enjoys the cheeseburger. She was very nice & very friendly, & I took her advice. All in all, the cheeseburger (9$) & the fries (5$) came up to 16.10$ (with tip).
When I arrived home & excitedly opened my box with the order, I was very taken aback. The cheeseburger is minuscule...
I literally took a can & compared the size of the burger to the diameter of the bottom of a soda can. They were the same size, & that is including the bun! The diameter of the patty itself was smaller than the diameter of a soda can, & the thickness was less than the width of a dime.
Seeing how the cheeseburger sells for 9$, I thought that common-sense would allow me to expect it to be the size of an average burger.
Needless to say, the price of the burger, combined with the recommendation of the saleslady made me feel as if I was misled to believe that the Lucille cheeseburger was worth 9$. It was not.
I am sorry to say that I do feel taken advantage of, & I expected more from Lucille.
When I sent this same review to the Lucille customer service email, the response I received was the following:
"Hi,
I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. I will speak with the chefs to make sure the size of the burgers is respected off the food truck.
I appreciate your feedback.
Thanks & have a good weekend,"
Needless to say, I felt completely dismissed.
I am not going to return to Lucille.
