Located in Montreal's west end, Lucille's Oyster Dive has been serving up oysters and seafood classics since 2009.
The goal is to provide patrons with the best selection of both east and west coast oysters. According to seasonal availability, the oyster selection changes daily. While the classics include lobster rolls and fish & chips, the Lucille's kitchen changes it up with seafood dishes that keep our patrons coming back.
Whether you're looking for a quick bite at the bar, or an evening with friends, the staff has a reputation of making it all seem like home.
While the menu changes seasonally, the Lucille's 1855 Butcher's Cut are a year round staple. The in-house, dry aged and charcoal grilled steaks have made this Dive a destination for beef enthusiasts.

It was the first time for my husband & I, at this restaurant on Monkland ave, & definitely not the last time! A nice warm setting, a very clean restaurant that has a good ventilation.
The food is very good, many working staff members, everyone is polite, smiling & working hard, a real teamwork.
The restaurant was packed, & it was only Tuesday. We sat indoors & many people sat on the outside terrace. We ordered shrimp cocktail & a Greek salad as entrées. 6 huge tender, juicy shrimps, so yummy, & the Greek salad with a big piece of Feta cheese was out of this world, so yummy, the best I have eaten in years.
Then my husband had the grilled lobster with French fries & house salad, & I ordered the 2 lobsters rolls with French fries. The lobster was very good, perfectly grilled, tender juicy, & very well seasoned with garlic, butter, so yummy. My 2 lobster rolls were excellent, & the bread was lightly toasted,, the best rolls ever. We drank beer with the food.
As dessert, we ordered the divine crème brûlée, so creamy, so tasty, a big portion, & also ordered the cheese cake, which was a bit on the dry side.
The service was courteous, fast & our waitress Olivia was very pleasant, hard worker, very attentive & quite helpful about the menu, answering all our questions.
This restaurant has a friendly & welcoming feeling which made our dining experience a very happy one. We will definitely be back to try everything they have on the menu.View more
This was my first time eating at Lucille's. The atmosphere is okay. Nice, but basic. The presentation of the food was quite lovely. I'm kind of mad I forgot to take a photo. I wish the server was a little bit more detailed oriented about my dish, she failed to mention that it was lettuce wraps, with my tartare. Because I would have chosen the fries instead of the sides salad. My tartare dish had nice bold flavor, which I particularly like. It's a 20 minute walk from our house. So I'll definitely go back, to try something else.View more
Easy 5 stars all around. Went as group of 6. Waitress was always available & kind. All rest of staff were very nice. The food was honestly fantastic. Sweet potato fries are crazy, the steaks were perfect. The oysters were great. Even the little house salad was so good. We were all so pleasantly surprised on how great it was & already planning future birthdays there. You really can't go wrong!View more
Great food, although choices in fish are limited. A bit overpriced. Fries are some of the best in town! Would love them to have more draft /craft beer (took one star off for that). A bit dark but that's up to personal preferenceView more
Food was good - would have been better if there were more side options other than fries. Great service with a nice ambiance.View more
Food is great - I often visit for special occasions. I personally recommend the rib-steak with sweet potato fries. Service is lacking - sometimes it's great other times you can tell the staff are overworked. Overall - Expensive, but thankfully the food is good so I'm content paying a premium price.View more
Steak & fries plate was different than the Laval location. Steak was smaller. Taste was still the same...good!
We have always been big fans of Lucille's but the food this time was not as good. The fries with my lobster roll tasted like frozen. They used to be so good. & the lobster roll was not as full as before & not as tasty.
never a disapointment, great steaks & fries & oysters. Try the crab dip.
I heard great things about this restaurant, & decided to come give it a visit during my first visit to Montreal.
We got seated right away, because we had reservations, however we did end up waiting for awhile to get our order taken, but staff were very friendly & welcoming.
We both ordered half a dozen of the premium oysters & their dollar oyster special. Oysters were sweet & tasted amazing!
We also ordered the lobster roll, fish & chips, & for dessert the chocolate mousse.
First time eating a lobster roll, & I was very impressed & pleased with how it came. The bread was buttery & soft, a good portion of lobster & the mayo just tied it all together beautifully.
Fish & chips were decent, but personally I found that there was too much batter, that I got tired of eating half way through one piece. Fries were mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it.
For dessert we had the chocolate mousse which tasted amazing & was the perfect dessert to end the meal.
The atmosphere & vibe is dark & busy, but it was an amazing experience & I would definitely come back for their lobster roll!View more
Friendly, efficient staff, delicious lobster rolls, amazing fries!
Service was excellent. We enjoyed being on the terrasse as the weather was nice. Very good mussels, lobster rolls, octopus & sweet potato fries. Oysters were very small, however.
Great evening on terrace with a cocktail, salad, & shared lobster roll with fries
Everything delish & service very attentive
A bit pricey for what you get.The calamari were very good but you don,t get very much for the price. The fish & chips which were supposed to be I assume a speciality seeing it was called lucille,s fish & chips but it was more batter than anything else.I don,t know what home cut fries mean but they were nothing special. The tacos were the best thing we ordered.
Usually, I understand that sometimes restaurants may not always offer what the customer was expecting.
However, today I felt the need to write to you, because I am very disappointed with the order I received today, & frankly, feel that I was purposefully misled.
I have seen Lucille's food truck, & it seemed really popular. I rarely eat out (on average, once every 2-3 months). So today, being in the area, I decided to try out the food truck.
I asked the saleslady what I should get, seeing how I am not a big fan of seafood, & she recommended the cheeseburger & fries, saying that she herself really enjoys the cheeseburger. She was very nice & very friendly, & I took her advice. All in all, the cheeseburger (9$) & the fries (5$) came up to 16.10$ (with tip).
When I arrived home & excitedly opened my box with the order, I was very taken aback. The cheeseburger is minuscule...
I literally took a can & compared the size of the burger to the diameter of the bottom of a soda can. They were the same size, & that is including the bun! The diameter of the patty itself was smaller than the diameter of a soda can, & the thickness was less than the width of a dime.
Seeing how the cheeseburger sells for 9$, I thought that common-sense would allow me to expect it to be the size of an average burger.
Needless to say, the price of the burger, combined with the recommendation of the saleslady made me feel as if I was misled to believe that the Lucille cheeseburger was worth 9$. It was not.
I am sorry to say that I do feel taken advantage of, & I expected more from Lucille.
When I sent this same review to the Lucille customer service email, the response I received was the following:
"Hi,
I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. I will speak with the chefs to make sure the size of the burgers is respected off the food truck.
I appreciate your feedback.
Thanks & have a good weekend,"
Needless to say, I felt completely dismissed.
I am not going to return to Lucille.
Great restaurant, a little crowded & a bit noisy, but itbwasvok. There was no tables available so we were offered two places at the bar. Started with a shrimp cocktail for two. The shrimp were jumbo size & fresh. For the main meal we ordered the grilled lobster, it was served with an arugula saland & fries. Everything was great. The only hck, it would have been nice & appreciated to have been offered a toilette to was hands. Eating lobster is a bit messy.
This is a small restaurant with tables placed very closely together. During our visit the service was friendly but very slow & casual. We started with run-of-the-mill Oyster Shooters ($7 ea.), acceptable King Crab Legs for 2($32), a very good (but extremely slow to be served) Raw Platter for 2(ca. $36) which consisted of an assortment of Oysters & Clams on the half shell accompanied by a variety of delicious sauces. We then both had a house specialty: Surf & Turf Plates ($28 ea.)which consist of a very basic lobster roll with a fair amount of quite bland lobster, unremarkable baby back ribs & fairly good fries. My entrees did not please me but I'll return to this restaurant for the Raw Bar & to try a bowl of the steamed clams that I saw being served while we were there :).
