Went there for lunch, good service. Why is food so expensive these days & plus my entry was calamari & I got 5 rings; I should have told the waiter; why should I go through that discomfort. Then a chicken burger with fries. $38 for lunch, I am done with this, from now on protein shake for lunch & big nice home made super. Over & out
I've been there for both lunch & dinner. The cocktails & the food are delicious, & the portions are generous. It's one of our favorite places to take friends & guests.
Located very close to the metro station, it's easy to access even on cold winter nights.

The food is amazing & the staff are very professional & friendly. For lunch, they offer a fixed-price special menu for $29, which is great value. I highly recommend the roasted cauliflower - it's absolutely delicious. The chicken burger was super tasty & juicy, with just the right amount of spice (which I personally loved). Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience!
Beaucoup trop bruyant, dirait qu'on mange dans une discotheque sur l'heure du lunch, la musique est tellement forte qu'on ne s'entend meme pas penser!!
We headed back to a Montreal favorite spot for lobster rolls in downtown which is a much larger restaurant than the smaller original Lucille's we went to the week before (my fav one). Since opening 2 years ago this new place has really been able to grow into its much larger'jacket'. Busy during a Monday lunch service with prompt service, great oysters & shrimp & a similarly tasty Lobster roll & fries. Congratulations to the team at this Lucille's for making this downtown venue rock.
Great for business lunch meeting. Food is delicious, staff is professional & atmosphere is quiet enough for a good conversation.
We both had the half-octopus on salads & the cauliflower entree. We loved it !
We had a birthday lunch for a large group. We were there late so we almost had the restaurant to ourselves. There were a few mishaps with the food; service was great except for a couple of things (missed an entree, threw away some food that was for take-out) - other than that, it was great! Alex was super friendly & attentive to the group. Highly recommend!
I wanted to share some feedback about my lunch experience today at Lucille's on Avenue des Canadiens.
First, I should mention that I've eaten at Lucille's several times - at the West Island, Laval, & Monkland locations - & have always enjoyed my meals. Unfortunately, today's experience was less than satisfying.
We tried ordering a salad without oils, but were told the kitchen couldn't accommodate the request. This was surprising for a kitchen that prepares food from scratch. Then, when a second choice was made to accommodate a gluten requirement, the kitchen again said they were unable to adjust, which was disappointing.
Finally, we ordered the sweet potato fries, & when we asked for a second serving of the spicy dipping sauce, we were given regular mayo instead - again, a letdown.
Look, I'm not going to get into pricing - I understand what comes with the mid-range dining experience. But if you're positioning yourself as a quality food & service establishment, consistency is key.
I thought Lucille's management team would appreciate the feedback.
By the way, although I was disappointed, it doesn't mean I won't come back - but I do hope the experience improves.
