Provided absolutely enormous portions for salads & bowls. Could really feed an entire table. It was good, but entirely too much. Nice spot for a casual & healthier meal.
I visited LOV twice during my stay at Montreal. Absolutely loved the place. The quantity is really good. Easy to share between two.
the staff is very friendly, so flexible & adaptive (I asked to replace one ingredient in my dish, the result was amazing), & their food & drinks are incredible. hope to be back soon ✨
I've been to LOV twice, & it has always looked amazing. The atmosphere with the warm lights & the natural decor fits the vibe of the restaurant well. The food is presented on beautiful ceramics & is absolutely delicious. This time, I tried the truffle risotto & the fish tacos. The risotto was creamy & warm, with flavors that fill you up. The fish tacos were fresh & flavorful, especially with the sweet potato fries. The service was good, but I didn't interact with my server too much. I definitely just went to eat & enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, it was a great place, & I'd love to visit again.
This place is very pleasant, ideal for meeting friends. Cozy, delicate interior, beautiful furniture & excellent service. Prices are quite reasonable. The dishes are beautifully presented & quite tasty. Good coffee. The wait for the order was somewhat overshadowed by the too long wait. The dishes were not served at the same time. & it was completely uncomfortable when the neighboring tables, after clearing the dishes, began to be treated with chemicals. There was already food on our table. & nearby tables & chairs were disinfected. I thank you for the cleanliness & disinfection. But I'm eating here now! However, the overall impression is quite positive, I definitely recommend this establishment!!!
We went here for dinner after reading amazing reviews about the gnocchi, kimchi fries & coconut curry, sadly, they had stopped serving gnocchi, but we tried their coconut curry was delicious. Kimchi fries were okayish, they lacked kimchi & a bit of dressing so I wouldn't recommend it as you won't be missing out on anything. Their Dumplings were tasty too, the dipping sauce which came with it was delicious & we used the same to finish the kimchi fries too hehe. The coconut curry was soooo comforting, we were visiting montreal for the first time & were roaming for entire day, after having this coconut curry it just felt like we ended our day having home cooked dish!! I would highly recommend it if you are craving for some comfort food. The drinks were also nice, we ordered the Botanist & Pink everything , I must say the Botanist was really really good. I would highly recommend it. The ambience of this place is really nice & peaceful. It won't seem like a very big restaurant from outside but once you enter you would be like this is huge!! Plus it's all white & nice. I would come back here to try their brunch menu & also try their other dishes in future. & would be happy to see if they serve their famous gnocchi again!!! Staff here is very friendly & nice!
