Wanted to like it, was looking forward to a good Halloumi sandwich. Took the grilled cheese, the only thing I tasted was the bland mayonnaise. The fries were soaked throughout in oil with a few sprinkles of zaatar. The peach limonade so sweet I could not drink it. Might have been a bad day for the cook. Good concept.

We tried Loumi at marche Jean Talon for the first time. Having recently come back from Lebanon (the land of Halloumi cheese), I can easily say that Loumi reminded me of Lebanon. They have managed to add a modern & unique twist to the traditional halloum cheese, all while keeping all the flavours that remind you of home; from the pomegranate molasses, to the mint, the fresh & juicy watermelon, the sumac & the zaatar. We tried the zaatar fries, the halloumi fattoush, the watermelon halloumi, & a lemonade with zaatar & sumac. If you're having loumi on a hot summer day, the watermelon halloumi with a side of zaatar lemonade with sumac is a must!!
Great good for sure. Definitely could use a lot more spice on the new spicy chicken. Also another idea is to actually marinate the halloumi cheese to give a different type of savoury flavour option the burgers were amazing. The Favourite was the Watermelon halloumi salad.
I wanted to like it, but it was very disappointing. The crispy chicken burger was flavorless, the zaatar fries were soggy, the halloumi was soft & wet, & my peach tea tasted like watered down lemonade.Not worth the price.
Great good. Amazing music. Friendly kind staff. Staff in the front saw that my wife & I were confused on what to order & instead of us ordering four separate items & paying more he advised us to get a trio plus extra drink. The grilled chicken in the grilled cheese halloumi was delicious & soft. The zataar fries were also very good. The rose berry & peach paradise lemonades were truly refreshing on this hot warm day.
Le burger au poulet grillé est incroyable. Le mélange de saveurs, avec le poulet très tendre, le halloumi, les pommes vertes, wow! Les frites sont délicieuses aussi! Bref, je recommande fortement!

Beaucoup d'intrigues par rapport à ce concept restaurant moi qui adore le halloumi, j'ai essayé le burger au poulet croustillant, en dessous de mes attentes, il y avais un tout petit morceau de halloumi & le poulet, manqué d'assaisonnement, très peux de sauce aussi. Il reste que l'hygiène & la place en elle même sont A1, un menu attrayant,je vais sûrement y retourner en espérant avoir une meilleure expérience.
Bonne quantité généreuse, employés accueillants & amicaux, leur burger au poulet croustillant avec le fromage halloumi est excellent. N'oubliez pas de prendre leur limonade maison elles sont supers rafraîchissantes :)
Absolutely loved my experience at Loumi! The chicken burger was a highlight. perfectly cooked with the delicious halloumi cheese. The blend of flavors was spot on, & I can't wait to return for more culinary delights.

Je suis surprise de voir autant de commentaires positifs pour ce resto. L'endroit est mignon, pas beaucoup de places assises, mais comme nous sommes assis devant les fenêtres, la vue sur St Laurent est intéressante. Les aliments sont frais & il n'y a aucun doute là dessus. Par contre j'ai vraiment été déçu par les saveurs. Le morceau d'halloumi du burger végé est très mince & pas vraiment goûteux. Ça avait la texture du tofu. Aucune élasticité. Le pain brioché est intéressant, mais il ne semble pas grillé, car il est devenu tout détrempé en quelques minutes à cause des garnitures. Le goût des croquettes de pommes de terre était bien, mais tièdes. J'aurais aimé plus croustillantes & plus chaudes. Le thé au sumac était bien aussi mais la moitié du verre était de la glace. Bref vraiment déçue & je n'y retournerai pas.
Peut-être que mes attentes étaient trop élevées mais j'ai été déçu: le hamburger à l'halloumi était plutôt fade & les frites au zaatar, quoique bien croustillantes, auraient pu être plus goûteuses! Très bonne limonade menthe-sumac!
Halloumi, Halloumi & more Halloumi for the Win! 🧀❤️ First Sandwich spot that I tried in 2024 & I have to say I'm off to a great start. @loumimtl is a one stop shop for everything delicious & everything Halloumi. If you don't like halloumi you need to get yourself checked I feel bad for you, if u do like halloumi cheese then do I got the spot for you. Fan favorites of the day have to be there traditional fried halloumi sandwich, filled with all the fixings & a great sauce to tie it all together. A 10/10 for those sando lovers. Next & new to the menu is the fried chicken & halloumi sandwich, again another banger. What is there not to love? Halloumi good, Fried d Chicken good, in a sandwiches... Sign me the hell up! As sides I wanted to go a little traditional back to my middle eastern roots of fries with Za'atar & a delicious Mayo. & you probably guessed more Halloumi, there fried loumi sticks with tahini, mint & pomegranates. All in all guys if you've had it, never tried it or have been thinking about it, you need to give this place a shot or a repeat visite, it Slaps! FOODGASMIC 💦 11/10
