It was just as good as we remember. We loved the soup of the day (carrot soup) the mushroom risotto appetizer & the salmon was so good. Can't wait to come back again.View more
Visited Pyrénées for dinner & I have to say the food was awesome. I really enjoyed the French onion soup & the lamb shank. The only issue I had was the service was very slow. Took well over an hour from the time we sat down to get our food. Other then that I'd give this place a tryView more
We went to Pyrenees just by searching on google for a Spanish restaurant. I ordered 12-hour braised lamb that night. I can tell you it that it was one of the best lamb meals I had ever had. So, we went back next time for lunch. This time I ordered lamb shank from lunch menu. Again, it was amazing. Lunch menu was more affordable. For lunch, soup or salad, & coffee were included. I chose soup & coffee. My friend tried salad & coffee. They bring French buggets & some sauce at the beginning. In general, I totally recommend it.View more
Excellent food & service. Cassoulet was delicious as was the pasta. Also enjoyed the onion soup.View more
The restaurant was not crowded but we still waited 30 mins for our drinks & soup to show up. The paella was cold & dry when it arrived another 30 mins later. They got the drink order wrong & gave us a free tasteless dessert as a consolation for the bad service & food. Would not recommendView more
Quite good restaurant, but did not "wow" me. My dish was pretty good, but my spouse's pasta was bland. Onion soup was very good.View more
Overpriced & not that good. French onion soup tasted like poutine. Fish was a little tough & dry. Pretty sure they reheat Costco baguettes for their bread (which aren't that bad to be fair) but overall not worth it.View more
Very good service! Always had someone refilling our glasses. Very polite staff. Food was great other than the French onion soup being too sweet. Everything else A+View more
Went there for Father's Day. Food was ok. We felt that we were rushed even though restaurant was empty (apart from us there was no one at the restaurant at 11:15 am - outside in terrace seating there were 4- 6 people). The wait staff tried removing the soup bowl before it was finished. He apologized, but later he did the same with the main course dish. We had to tell him that we are still eating. The wait staff added the tip amount by himself & passed the card reader. The tip % was more than we had planned to give due to our experience. Hopefully, they train the wait staff better so people can have better dining experience!View more
Overpriced & underwhelming tourist trap. We went during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend. Actually, we were shocked we were able to find a table for a large group, but after eating there it became clear. The food was mediocre at best & shamelessly overpriced. The paella was dry, underseasonned & had mostly mussels, a few tiny clams & three shrimp, not any chorizo to speak of. The grilled squid was boiled & absolutely had no flavor. The onion soup was too sweet & unbalanced in flavor. The fried trio platter, tasted of rancid oil & was a bit burned & heavily coated with oil. A couple of meat dishes were dry but edible. Service was good but not outstanding. Not a place I would return to or recommend. We left wondering where all the five star reviews came from.View more
The service was very good, but the food was disappointing. We ordered the fish soup, goat cheese salad, & Catalonian anchovies to start. The salad was good, but the anchovies & soup were just okay. For the mains, we had the beef tartare & plancha calamari which were on special. We were disappointed with our choices, as the calamari dish was not seasoned & the calamari was a bit chewy, but the rice was pretty good. The beef tartare also disappointed us as the beef was chewy & the potato crisps were stale. Overall while it is a nice restaurant & the staff was amazing, we were disappointed with the execution & quality control of the dishes we ate in comparison to the amount we paid ($240 for the meal & a bottle of wine + taxes & tip).View more
The service here was sublime. Atmosphere perfect. On general we all enjoyed our food. The selections were excellent. & exceptional vegetarian options. The soupe de poisson was very good. The orange Cake for dessert was nothing short of amazing. Just mildly disappointed in the paella. Would order something different next time but definitely will return for another visit.View more
We had a great experience. Made a reservation same day for 7pm. Our server was really great, funny & helpful. We enjoyed the French onion soup, the broth was very flavorful. The salmon special for the night & the seafood paella was beautifully presented. Everything tasted great & was really fresh. Great overall experienceView more
What an absolute Gem!!! If you like seafood & Spanish food you have to eat here!! The entrees were devine: cauliflower soup & strawberry goat cheese salad. The paella is absolutely amazing!!! Fantastic service & in the heart of old Montreal, what more can you ask for!! EAT HERE!!!View more
We had Christmas dinner here & it was a wonderful experience. The service was great & the food was wonderful. The French onion soup was delicious. My husband loved the smoked salmon lasagna. The holiday menu was great. We are so glad we picked here to celebrateView more
Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere & flavorful dishes at your restaurant! While portions are on the smaller side, the appetizers & soups are a warm & delicious start. The pork cheeks were a highlight - truly tasty!View more
Unfortunately, our visit here was rather disappointing. We met some friends who came to visit & arrived a bit late so we chose to go to a restaurant next to their hotel. First & foremost, the food just didn't taste good. My soup was almost cold & the subsequent paella was dry in both meat & rice. Furthermore was the service quite unfriendly when we didn't drink any alcohol as a sober friend was with us. It felt like we were ignored afterwards & attention was diverted elsewhere. Montreal has so many great restaurants so I would recommend visitors to venture outside of the old port & find actually good food & respectable service!View more
Looked great from outside, popped in, sat by the window & ordered some food. The French Onion soup was mediocre & my Seafood Paella was a bit dry but tasted alright. The Soup was good but the Lasagne was very dry, almost or probably heated up in a microwave! The cocktails were amazing & tasted really good. The staff were very friendly & attentive. The decor was nice & the atmosphere was decent for the time of the day.View more
Everything about the place was good. The soup of the day was lovely. The beek cheeks were nice. Service was pleasant, even though they forgot about my glass of wine until the end. All in all; good.
