Aurora greeted us & was our main server helped by the very compatible team. We felt like we were at a Michelin star restaurant since every detail was attended to with the highest professional standard.View more
Don't pass up on dessert. The orange cake was perfect!View more
Everything was great here! I had the pork cheek & it was delicious! We had a large crew & our server Justin was the best we had while we were in Montreal! He & the other staff were very accommodating & made this an unforgettable place for us! I would highly recommend going here!View more
Not impressed at all... No table cloth making the table sticking & giving the impression of not clean; no air conditioning but well ventilated. We ordered a vermouth & a negroni. Both very much watered down. For the food we ordered calamari a la plancha & a mackerel. The fish was horribly small & with strong taste. The calamari were rubbery. The carrot puree was nice. Also 1 bottle of water (9.90$) & an espresso. The bill? 154$. Absolutely not worthed.View more
What a gem. Hard to find a good Spanish restaurant in Montreal but this has passed my expectations. Plates are well balanced, properly cooked, & feature some great Catalunya choices. Very friendly staff, not a long wait for dishes. It was a wonderful birthday dinner!View more
Nous reviendronsView more
Patio on a sunny day was beautiful, food was amazing especially the risotto was incredible. The crème brûlée was too exciting to wait for a pic :)View more
My wife & I were visiting Montreal & looking for Vegetarian friendly restaurants. What attracted us to this menu was that they had a small section of specific vegetarian dishes. & very interesting choices. Great atmosphere & service topped it all off.View more
Visited Pyrénées for dinner & I have to say the food was awesome. I really enjoyed the French onion soup & the lamb shank. The only issue I had was the service was very slow. Took well over an hour from the time we sat down to get our food. Other then that I'd give this place a tryView more
The food was so good that we were surprised that there was no other customers at the time of our visit in the afternoon. Great interior, great food, great staff.
We totally demolished the first tray of baguette so we were offered a second tray. We ate too much bread because the dipping sauce was soooo good that I could not even finish half of my paella after😂.View more
Food was presented well but not very good especially considering the high prices. Shrimp main dish was $45, contained 4 shrimp served in a sauce, & were unpeeled & not deveined & overcooked. Vegetables on each dish were bland & not cooked with any attention to flavor or texture. Very hot & crowded where we sat. Strawberry almond arugula salad surprisingly included a lot of diced tomatoes, & strawberries + tomatoes do not go well together at all. Service was friendly but with several mistakes. Overall not a good experience.View more
Absolutely loved our dinner at Pyrénées in Old Montreal! The atmosphere is charming & cozy, perfectly matching the historic vibe of the area. I was especially impressed with the strawberry & goat cheese salad-so fresh & full of flavor. The scallops were perfectly cooked & simply delicious. Service was outstanding-friendly, attentive, & made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great Spanish dining experience in the heart of the old town!View more
Service was pretty good & friendly. The paella I got was very dry & the muscles were tiny. I would go back though. Atmosphere was cozy & warm.View more
First, I thought this was a Spanish restaurant & asked for croquetas then I was told they didn't have them.
I said, but this is a Spanish restaurant, I was then told, no this is a restaurant from Catalu?a, hmm well in the region of Catalu?a there are no tapas but pinchos, but no croquetas uhm weird.
Anyway, I ordered an arroz catalan, yes a starter but ordered a larger plate.
When it arrived mine & my wife's were not warmed enough.
I asked to be warmed up. My wife preferred not.
When it was brought back, then it was much better.
Also, it was advertised that they sell creme Brule, if the place sells plates from Catalu?a then, they should have had crema catalana.
I also asked if they had tinto de Verano, a popular Spanish drink, & then was pointed to the sangria menu & not what I had asked.
Service ok but not satisfied.View more
I feel like the lunch special is the best thing; lots of tasty choices so you can try something that you've never had before with a reasonable portion size.View more
A tester obligatoirement !View more
Absolutely delicious food & exceptional service. The server had excellent recommendations for wine. Very highly recommended.View more
