Beau & bon resto! Beaucoup d'attention dans le détail, belle tablée. Menu délicieux mais je n'en ressors pas avec rien de spécialement « wow » Très bonne adresse dans l'ensemble!
Très belle place, bonne ambiance, super service, tout était très bon & bien présenté c'était une belle soirée. Je laisse 5 étoiles mais les prix sont de mon avis trop dispendieux peu importe la qualité & l'attention portée aux assiettes ce qui devient assez habituel malheureusement.

Le Violon had big shoes to fill after Maison Publique, & they have certainly succeeded. The reno is beautiful, the staff are very kind & attentive, & the food is exactly what you would expect from Danny Smiles, excellent.
J'ai choisi le Violon pour un souper d'anniversaire entres copines un vendredi, avec de grandes attentes d'une adresse très prisée. Personnellement, j'ai aimé la nourriture (tartare de thon & de boeuf délicieux) mais mes amies ont été un peu déçues par le flétan. La joue de boeuf & le gâteau meringue citron étaient bons. Notre plus grande déception a été au niveau du service. On a senti une certaine pression dès le départ, pour commander, ensuite pour terminer nos assiettes & passer au prochain service. On n'a pas pu prendre la dernière bouchée de tartare que l'assiette avait été débarrassée. Peu de détails pour expliquer le menu, il a fallu demander plus d'informations & des recommandations. Je comprends qu'il y a 2 services mais ça a teinté l'expérience. Côté ambiance, le resto était bondé ce que j'ai apprécié mais c'était malgré tout un peu froid comme atmosphère.
quite mediocre for the price. Would be inoffensive at half the cost, currently it's a bit of a ghastly price-to-quality & quantity ratio. Desserts were surprisingly the worst part after they came so highly recommended. Cocktails were great.
Bel endroit rénové avec goût, menu très (trop?) limité, jolie présentation des plats, plutôt bons, mais aussi plutôt limités en terme de quantité... Service très courtois & attentionné (Éric, je crois?). Bémols: malgré une réservation pour 3 personnes faite quelques semaines à l'avance, on nous a assigné une petite table pour 2 dans l'allée du bar... Vraiment?!?! Notre déception à cet égard n'a pas paru émouvoir d'un iota le responsable en salle à qui nous avons fait part de notre désenchantement. Une fois la facture réglée (plus de 400$), à la demande du responsable, on a dû presser le pas pour libérer la table... Vraiment?!?! Dommage, mais au final pas vraiment de bonnes raisons d'y retourner.
