Le Roi du Smoked Meat always offers excellent hot & tender smoked meat on fresh rye bread.
I had the trio with fries. ,coleslaw, 1/4 pickle & a soft drink for only 15.95. This is a special for weekday lunches from 11am until 3pm. (please confirm with the restaurant). They also make excellent club sandwiches. Service is always 5 star. Opened late.
Je mange toujours la ont est allé avec ma famille le 31 décembre ont s'est assis au grande banquette du fond & la madame qui nous a attendu (l'employée) parle trop avec le personnel & ne nous a jamais demandé si on allait bien

Désolé d'avance mais c'est un amoureux du smoke meat qui parle ! Une seule question mais qui l'a elu roi du smokmeat ? Quand je pense qu'il y en a qui le compare à Schwartz...pas de commentaire, c'est je pense la pire viande fumée que j'ai mangé de ma vie, en une assiette rien n'est fait maison la viande est super industrielle d'une couleur rose inconnue & j'ai vu les paquet de viande sous vide c'est remplis d'additifs industriel, quand on ce proclame le ROI on fait sa viande fumée soi-même au minimum... & mêmes les frites sont surgelés & les sauces aussi... Bref c'est un roi déchu & Il y a 1000 fois mieux à Montréal...
C'est un employeur merveilleux propriétaire qui sait respectez ces employés surtout la gérante Francine galant & les autres employés merci de m'avoir donner ma chance de plus je suis triste de ne plus tavailler chez vous
When you see the restaurant name Le Roi du Smoked Meat you think that is a super delicious but it was normal no difference at all & the men's bathroom. A big 0. Came on people clean the bathroom
We had the Smoked Meat Special. The smoked meat was tender & juicy but lacked a smoked taste. The coleslaw was good & so was the pickle. Was very disappointed with the frozen fries, that is why I gave 4 star for the food. The waitress was great, fast & efficient with a smile.

Le Roi du Smoked Meat is my comfort food goto whenever I'm in the neighborhood. The best smoked meat of anywhere in Montreal. Their Special Smoked Meat Sandwich come with the best fresh cut fries & the very best coleslaw of anywhere. The food is plain, simple, ample, & absolutely delicious. The portions are generous. The prices are reasonable. The service is fast & friendly. It ain't no fancy place, but in my opinion, it's the best smoked meat place in town. Located on Montreal's famous St. Huberts street, yes where St Hubert's chicken got its start, the street is famous for its food, fashion, & lounges. That's where you will find one of the oldest & greatest Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich of anywhere in Montreal. Ready for this - I rate Le Roi du Smoke Meat 6 out of 5 mustaches for its perfection & longevity. Long live the KING (ROI)!
