C'est un bon resto montréalais traditionnel, je le recommande aux touristes qui veulent une expérience de cantine québécoise authentique &/ou un bon smoked meat. Le service & sympathique & l'ambiance est agréable. Une chose est certaine : il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le menu est incroyablement grand & varié.
J'adore. Cet endroit me rappelle mon enfance. Tout est délicieux. La pizza. Je recommande surtout : Le smoke meat, Les clubs & les sous marins. ❤?
Had a great experience. Had all the hallmarks of a cosy diner. Classic red booths ✅ Friendly & kind waitress who has been here for almost 2 decades ✅ nice fresh classic food ✅ encouragement to linger & talk even once you're done eating & paid ✅.we ordered the classic smoked meat sandwich, the bacon egg & cheese, & the cheesecake. Everything was delicious! This place is dey recommended.
I had a delicious smoked meat platter there. The place is great. Feels like you are in an old movie. I specially liked the pickle. Highly recommend!

Ils ne s'appellent pas''Le roi du Smoked Meat'' pour rien. - Viande vraiment excellente!! - Bon rapport qualité/prix Pour la livraison, je vous recommande d'appeler directement (plutôt que de passer par Uber Eats ou autres applis), beaucoup moins cher, service rapide & la personne à qui j'ai parlé était bien sympathique. Vive les rapports humains ;)
A very atmospheric place to rediscover the atmosphere of'old Montreal'. The welcome was a bit aggressive due to confusion on the part of the person at reception. The smoked meat was overabundant but very watery & I don't see the point in eating it - save your meat eating opportunities for better quality meat. I would recommend this place to enjoy its ambience whilst eating a salad or chips - but not the smoked meat.

Great place that has been around for a very long time. The food is always perfect, nice portions, very reasonable prices, good service & nice atmosphere. Highly recommend it if you haven't been there before.

I got takeout so I can't really comment on the atmosphere, but the lovely elderly woman at the cash recommended their special & it did not disappoint! It was SO delicious! The smoked meat was tender & really moist (sorry). My husband doesn't like smoked meat as a rule, but even he said it was delicious. I had the special & it was super affordable at $20! A steal in this economy. Next time I go to Montreal I will be going back for sure!

le smoke meat est vraiment dans les tops - la viande fond dans la bouche, délicieuse . les frites sont à améliorer mais somme toute je recommande!
Super ambiance, les plats sont excellents & pas chers. Franchement à recommander si vous voulez un bon dinning de qualité 👍🏽
