Ouvert depuis 1954, leur réputation n'est plus à faire. L'endroit est figé à une autre époque. Banquettes en cuir, prennent places tout le long de la salle à manger. Les serveuses sont amicales & souriantes. Si vous cherchez un restaurant où le smoke meat fond dans la bouche, & le pain de seigle est frais du jour, je vous invite fortement à vous y arrêter. Vous ne le regretterai point
J'ai pris des sandwiches au smoked meat pour emporter & je ne le referais plus. Bon sandwich, beaucoup de viande mais les pickles sont un extra. Très bon, mais meilleur sur place.
Smoked meat here is absolutely fantastic, one of the best places in Montreal to eat smoke meat no doubt. Portions were large & everything was extremely fresh. Sat upstairs & place was pretty busy but the food came rather quickly too. Only strange thing was the service - waitress (didn't get her name) was asking some pretty personal questions during the meal. Was trying to enjoy my meal with my company but the waitress kept asking questions when I was clearly giving one word answers & just wanted to eat with my people. Would definitely go back, would just avoid her section.

La serveuse au deuxième est vraiment sa coche, ont là bien aimer le jour de notre passage du 10 février dernier & que dire du smoked meat également su coche 😉
Had the 10 inch "Roi Submarine" cheap mushy bread, skimpy fillings with a kraft like dressing....just horrible at $22 Pecan Pie $8.95, pecans on top of some pudding type filling, the worst version of a pecan pie I've ever tasted. It was like something you would buy at the gas station , next to the Jos Louis. The onion rings were good.
