cafe(59) coffee(53) chocolate(12) cozy(12) latte(10) pastries(10) shop(10) ice cream(9) decor(9)Great nook to have some coffee & pastries. Coffee is solid & their croissants & pain au chocolat are made very well. Quite busy due to local tourism but a nice rest over if you're visiting the old neighborhood!Voir plus
Here is literally the best hot chocolate you can ever try in Montreal!Voir plus

What a lovely petit cafe!! Charming inside & out. Full of framed art, mirrors, colors, gifts & various pantry items. My only negative comment is their pastry selection was white limited for 11am, & their lattes lacked flavor (too milky, not enough tea/coffee)Voir plus
Bonne ambiance, place cute, mais le café est pas bon. En fait, c'est de l'eau avec couleur café :) aucun gout de café. Le chocolat chaud pareil. Au moins, les biscuits sont relativement bons.Voir plus
Very cute café, the decor & atmosphere are 10/10, excellent! There are multiple Petit Dep sprinkled throughout Montreal but this is my favorite one. The price however is a bit much. Go at least once for the vibe!Voir plus
the pain au chocolat was not that great & the lady at the cash register was not very nice. when i talked to her in french she said "is that all" in a rude way. wouldn't recommendVoir plus

My favorite café that I walked into! Very charming & cozy!! Right across the street from the Notre Dame Basilica too!
I decided to try the Moka & every sip of it was so delicious I had to come back later in the evening to try it again.
Service was very friendly & I appreciated everything the little café had to offer. Amazing playlist playing too!

I have lived next door for 3 years now. I have tried all the little cafes in my neighborhood. I used to come here before & buy an oat milk latte regularly because it was arguably the best on my street. That said, there's barely any local people in this cafe for good reasons. Today, it took 40 minutes (while there were only 6 customers before me) to make my cappucino. The price of the food items is ridiculously expensive, even for the area. I don't know how it can be this bad since they have very little fresh food, but almost every time I come here, I find expired food (eggs, cheeses or meats). Plus, they newly removed all the price tags on the shelves, so the only way to know the prices is to wait in line to ask at the register. So, by the time you get there, even when your item is double the price, you end up buying it because you don't wait to waste any more time. For me, the lack of transparency in removing the prices was the last straw. Even if their coffee is good, it's no longer worth it. I promised myself today that it was the last time I would ever come here again.
TL;DR it has recently gotten worse... food items expired, way overpriced, & without any price tags. Good coffee, but extremely long wait for a single one.

I just live this little café & same one around the corner from us as well both are so lovely the food & coffee is sensational the Quebec vanilla soft serve is ever so good not just some cheap milk ice but really creamy with vanilla bean - really generous serves, sorry no pictures of the ice cream - it’s gone but the night shot of the front at night is really cute

I really loved this place but my most recent visit with friends from out of town was disappointing.
The two staff where slow, got the order wrong (they did corrected it after pointing it out) acting as if they where stoned & nonchalant, our drinks where served in paper cups for drinking inside. The Coffee (An Americano) was poured wrong & had no flavour until I took the last sip. The toilet stank like stale urine which stuck to my shoes as the smell wafted with me to my seating area.
Overall this place has completely lost its charm.
I’ll go back to Olive & Gourmando next time as a new & better choice.
