Review Summary

Le Pégase offers a welcoming and intimate dining experience, celebrated for its traditional French cuisine and excellent value as a bring-your-own-wine establishment. Many guests praise the generous portions, consistently well-prepared meat dishes like lamb and bison, and thoughtful service that often makes visitors feel like family. While the restaurant is compact and can get lively, it remains a favorite neighborhood destination for those seeking a cozy, authentic atmosphere, provided that reservations are made in advance to secure a spot in this popular local gem.

We did not enjoy the ambience on the patio, the tables were wobbly. The plastic curtains made the patio stuffy. The lobster roll was soggy & did not taste good. I had the Arctic char which was over cooked & served with a sad salad of beans & quinoa. Very salty. My dining companion had the rack of lamb, overcooked & served with uninspired vegetables that you could find in the frozen section of the grocery. Dessert was fine. We won't return.

bland salty food. I couldn't finish anything I ordered. maybe an off night. maybe better in the dining room, we sat at a wobbly table in the stuffy terrace, with plastic curtains & zero ambiance. we had the lobster spring rolls which were terrible & mostly mashed potato with a weird bbq sauce on a soggy pastry.
I had the fish of the day which was Arctic char. overcooked & accompanied by a bean & quinoa salad that was cold & soggy, like something you might buy at grocery deli counter. my dinning companion had the rack of lamb which was also overcooked & served with a sauteed vegetable medley like you might find in a freezer bag. I look at the great reviews & don't understand what alternate experience we had. we won't return.

Super bons petits plats.
