Nous avons été dîner chez Le Pégase pour souper un Samedi soir. Je peux dire que c'est tout simplement une expérience exceptionelle! L'ambiance est vraiment super avec des tables rapprochés qui rappel notre voyage à Paris, de la musique très bonne & on y est au chaud même l'hiver :). Le service était impéccable car les gens sont très courtois, à l'écoute, le temps entre les différents plats était parfait, & le menu est très bien expliqué. Nous avons super bien mangé du début à la fin. Les plats étaient très bons, & bien cuits. Nous avons été renversés d'apprendre que notre facture n'était que d'environs 120$ pour deux personnes incluant soupe/salade, entrées, repas & dessert. Bref, je conseille vivement l'endroit à quiconque.
Nous ne sommes jamais déçus lorsque nous sommes de passage à Montréal & que nous soupons au Pégase. Merci pour votre savoir faire & votre rapport qualité prix.
It was our first time here, & we were impressed. First of all, I'll start with the downside. Because the venue is small, sounds travels really well, so it was very, very loud at times. This was the only downside. The food was fantastic, we started with the beat soup. For appetizers, we had the foie gras, which surprised us by the big portion, & the beef profiteroles were super supple & decadent. For mains, we had the bison bavet, which was cooked to a nice medium rare, & the fall off the bone beef short rib. dessert was the tarte tatin, & creme brulé. Overall, everything was great, amazing food, good service, & the price surprised us most of all, they charge pre-covid prices. We will for sure be back.
Très bon souper comme d'habitude! Nous avons toutefois trouvé dommage de devoir attendre 20 minutes dans l'entrée avant que quelqu'un nous dise bonjour.
Very cute little BYOB spot nestled in this residential neighborhood is a high quality french restaurant. Bring a nice bottle of wine because the quality of the ingredients were the bomb.
It starts off with a soup or salad
Followed by an entrée
You can opt for a palette cleanser where they made this apple/pear puré with a local brandy
Then we had an amazing boeuf bavette & short rib - the portion was huge
The sides on the dish were delicious
The dessert was amazing & super clever as well
.... All this for like.... $50-60/pp!

Belle premiere experience, tout était excellent. De la soupe au dessert…

We had the rutabaga soup, the tuna tataki, the trout gravlax, the deer medallions, the bison, the creme brûlée, the tarte tatin, the lemon tartelette.. nothing disappointed us! Even the coffee was excellent! Service was warm & inviting but never intrusive.
I love their take-out. It includes paté with toasts, soup, main course with vegetables & dessert. I especially love the lamb & the chocolate dessert really is to die for :-).

Merci à l'équipe pour ce souper mémorable, c'était encore une fois un service impeccable, la nourriture un délice comme toujours. Merci à Laurence & notre cher propriétaire, vous avez bien marqué le coup d'anniversaire de notre ami ! Je vous dis à bientôt !
Accueil très professionnel, service aussi. Un petit bémol pour certains plats qui étaient pas super bons (le canard dur comme une semelle, soupe trop salé) par contre le foie gras & la bavette étaient délicieux.
Délicieux ! Mais il est dommage qu'il n'y ait plus de menu 'Table d'hôte' où il y a moins de plats & c'est moins cher. Le menu actuel n'offre que la table gourmande (soupe ou salade, entrée, plat principal & dessert) & je n'ai pas l'appétit pour manger tout cela & c'est dispendieux. S'il réoffrait les tables d'hôtes (soupe ou salade, plat principal, café ou thé/tisane) cela me permettrait d'y aller plus souvent. Dans l'état actuel, ce ne sera que pour de rares occasions.
I regularly order from Le Pegase. The food is wonderful & reasonably priced. You get soup, pate with crackers, veggies & dessert all for the price of the main. The death by chocolate is one of the best chocolate desserts ever. I got the foie gras this week & it was fabulous.

J'ai eu peur lorsque j'ai goûté la soupe. Je la trouvais beaucoup trop liquide pour un supposé potage à la courge, mais la suite des plats m'ont fait oublier ce 1er plat. La suite culinaire était parfaite. J'aurais aimé qu'on m'explique bien les plats au lieu de devoir deviner. Dans le menu ont indique une protéine mais on n'indique pas les accompagnents. Moi, jaime bien savoir afin de faire un choix éclairé. C'est le seul reproche que j'ai a formuler sur ce resto.
Super souper! Le resto est petit & charmant. La table d'hôte était délicieuse. Le seul hic - choisir le plat principal était difficile, on voulait prendre tous les choix qui s'offraient à nous! Les serveurs étaient attentionnés & plaisants. Nous avons passé une belle soirée.
